Sighing sheepishly, Windy offered an apology, "Yeah, my memory hasn't been the greatest since my concussion, especially short term. Add that to the fact that I'm not very coherent when I wake up anyways, and to be honest, I'm surprised I remembered your name at all. Sorry, I probably should have mentioned the memory issue yesterday. Although did the fireworks wake you up?" He asked, walking over to lean on the railing next to Bolt. "They are really pretty, and I suppose it would be a shame to sleep through them, even though that was a really comfortable nap..."

After Sorrow's coughing fit, she had sat down on the bed, still looking a bit teary-eyed, but not from her crying, but from the dust. 

 

Why was it that the last time I did that, I never got dust on me? That's extremely kooky... That almost set off me sneezing a bunch... And my cough and sneeze are just so embarrassing...

 

Nightraxx fanned the dust out the door, so it could vanish through the windows. After the remaining dust had dissipated, he closed the door and turned around, Sorrow had stopped sneezing, but her eyes looked a little teary.

 

He thought about her sneeze and immediately blushed again, never had he seen someone sneeze as cute as she did. He smiled a little inside.

 

"I-is it better now?" Nightraxx asked. "T-the crew sure could have done a better job." he said.

OK, that ordeal is now gone... So... What are we going to do now? Just sit again?

Moonbeam stared at that patch of sky with her eyes wide, the lights reflected in her deep, blue eyes as she watched the show in awe. She let out a long, drawn out "Wooooow!" She applauded him, still staring at where the fireworks were. "That was amazing, Firecracker!"

 

"Heheheh... thanks! I never really thought that was really impressive for me. I can do better, but due to the size of the ship, I can't really break any limits on here without setting the ship on fire, and we all know how that would end..." he explained to Moonbeam.

Sorrow nodded, scratching her nose from where she had been sneezing for so much. She even sniffed a bit to make sure that there was no dust lodged into her nostrils. Luckily, there wasn't.

 

OK, that ordeal is now gone... So... What are we going to do now? Just sit again?

"Oh..." Firebolt mumbled, pinning her ears back. "And now I feel like a jerk. Again." "Sorry..." She said softly, then immediately put her voice back to the louder norm. "I suppose. I don't really fancy fireworks, myself. They're just..." Another loud bang polluted the area with it's noise. "...loud."

Feeling unusually bold, Windy softly lifted Bolt's chin up to look him in the eyes. "Hey, don't be sorry, you couldn't have known about my memory issues, I never told you, and I strongly doubt you're a psychic, so its fine." Letting go of her chin and turning to look at the fireworks, Windy mused, "I suppose they are loud, but that doesn't mean they can't be pretty..." As soon as the words had left Windy's mouth, his eyes widened slightly at his tactless statement. 

 

"You idiot! How could you have forgotten she can't even see the colors, how can she enjoy fireworks if she's colorblind??"

 

"My mistake, that was rude... I almost forgot you were colorblind there for a second.. But still, I suppose they could still be cool to watch... If the noise bothers you though, it would probably be less noisy in your room."

"Here it is." he said and opened his door by inserting the keycard into the scanning device. He went inside and over to his luggage...an arrangement of pretty sophisticated musical equipment...he had saved up money for quite some time, before he was able to afford it.

 

His eyes glanced over a big, pretty long and square-cut bag. "There you are." he took the big bag and carried out the door, closing the door and locking it. He made his way back to Sorrow's room and slowly knocked on the door.

Fortunately, that only showed up in her voice a bit... "I can still see color... They just get mixed up. I mean, a sunset is a similar color to the regular sky for me."

"So that's how that works? Weird... I guess you really do learn something new everyday...." 

 

"Oh, I didn't know that! I always had thought 'colorblind' meant you actually couldn't see any colors, everything was just shades of gray for you, like in old pictures. Goes to show how little I know..." 

 

As another particularly loud firework exploded, Windy folded his ears back a bit. As much as he liked fireworks, these were quite loud. "Anyways, Bolt, as I had said before, if its too loud out here, I'm sure if you were inside the sound would at least be muffled a little bit. Do you want to stay out here, or go inside?"

 

"I probably should mention getting back to my own cabin at some point... Nah, Windy, don't bring that up. If she wants you to leave, she'll ask you to. Good point brain."

After he had found a socket and connected the piano to it, he went over to his electrical piano. He stood infront of it and thought "I hope she likes my composition." He didn't had a note sheet for his composition, the melody was embedded in his mind.

 

Nightraxx took a deep breath and began playing a melody. It was a slow and soothing and also sad melody. He had his eyes closed; his feeling and his memory were guiding his hooves along the keys.

Fire thought for a minute. "Well...I know how to sing. But being a part of the circus takes up allot of time...we have a couple hours in the morning to do whatever and the an hour for lunch then...an hour at around threeish to do whatever. The rest of the day is just work." She said, eyeing her empty glass.

((YOOOOOOOOOO...We need to get moving along...and we cant without you two. Nightfall is waiting for Sunburst to reply to him...he asked if they all wanted drinks or not (I think)))

Sunburst smiled, and nodded. She probably wouldn't usually consider drinking, but since the colt was cute... "Yeah, why not? I should relax a bit. I think I can trust Moonstruck to her own devices for one night."

Hop didn't say more but just looked at fire. Her tea came and she took a sip never looking away. "I think I'm going to head to my room soon. Watch a movie maybe. If you want to join me you can." she offered taking another sip of her tea. Hop set down the cup and got out of the chair. "Well?"

Sunburst shrugged, then turned to listen to Fire.

Fire thought for a minute. "I...have already kinda planned out my night. I am going to get really drunk and then sleep. Maybe we could all get together some other time...you me Sunburst Nightfall. That would be fun." She said, smiling. *Okay...Hop likes me, that's for sure...but...what am I supposed to tell her ? Gah I wish I had my brother here.* She thought.

"Yeah, that would work," Sunburst agreed.

"o-oh... okay." Hop said as her ears flattened against her head. She began to trot off back to her room feeling rejected and unwanted. She tried to think of what movie she wanted to watch by herself. Something that wouldn't worsen her mood. She came to no conclusion when she reached her room.

"I..." Sunburst guessed that the wrong thing had been said. She blinked, staring after the retreating pegasus for a moment, then turned to Nightfall and Fire. "Well... Should we get started, then?"

Fire watched Hop go and felt a slight pang in her heart. She looked up at Sunburst and scratched one back hoof against the other. "I...I wasn't mean was I ? I should have gone about that better...ah buck me." She said, putting her head in her hooves. *Maybe I should go after her...no no, that would give her the wrong idea's. Damn it Fire.*

Can it be that you just don't know what you actually want?"Oh... I... I am sorry, I didn't think ahead... Those ships are quite safe nowadays, so... well, it just won't sink. Aaaanyway.... what exactly are you working?"Airy just needed a topic to talk about now to make Windy Scamper forget about his bad comment...

Jist ignore the comment. It hardly makes up for you making up an inspiring story for him.

 

"Ih, you know, just working on magic...stuff. Creating new effects, preforming at various gigs around town, managing money and preformances...being a magicain is a lot harder than other ponies make it seem."

Scamps looked outside her window. "Oh look, fireworks!" She said excitey. She began to trot outside to the deck, until she realized she was rudely leavng Airy. "There's apparently a fireworks show outside. You wanna come outside and see it?" She asked, grinning with excitement.

Nightraxx played the song, his mind full with thoughts of Sorrow...; thoughts, which were like magic, moving his hooves along the piano.

 

When he realized that Sorrow had begun to hum alongside his melody aswell, his heart almost made a jump, "S-she...likes my song for her...." he thought.

 

Her humming sounded angelic...she played with the melody, added a truly dazzling harmony into it and made the song...perfect. She made his song, that he played for her...complete... It was now...their song.

 

Anyone, who would have listened to this display of incredible beauty, would have instantly became hooked to the song.
