Think about it... the only division between you an the opposing person is a thin, clear screen that displays text and images that did not appeal to you, and all you can actually do is just reply or ignore. Stereotypes are created for the enjoyment of others, or, more coincidentally, just because multiple people saw the same thing more than once. It breaks my heart and hurts my eyes to see such representations of us, but, gotta remember, it is attention, not favoring, that makes a lot of things "popular." I really believe that ignorance would literally fix a lot of this hate. But, for now, I think we are the stronger one for taking a lot of this hate.

... and to just break the stereotype, I am a writer who is, and has always been, in honors.

It's their opinion. This is really [pardon my french] Autistic, if I may say so myself. For this to be bullying it would have to be insulting towards one person, and not towards bronies as a whole.

they repost others bronies videos, which in itself violates youtube policy if they didnt get permission, and then have a field day with the comments. its not just the title of the channel.... its not right on any levels.

Except it's just that you don't like it. Just because you don't like it doesn't suddenly give you a right to take it down. I myself go there sometimes to see some of the cringy stuff this fandom's up to. Actually ima make another thread about that, but do you get my point?

Honestly People like these piss me off to no end. They should know, first off that they are offending billions of people with autism, myself included, And that it's never a laughing matter when someone makes fun of someone else just for that.

Secondly, why would they hate on us Bronies so much anyway? We're not bugging them so why should they act like gnats buzzing around our heads

Third. Destroying the system of masculinity and femininity sounds like quite a long shot...

While some bronies do act stupid and rub the fandom into other's faces, they need to realize that most don't. When they insult the autistic it just crosses the line. I may not be autistic but I know and love many who are including some of you guys here (not trying to be mean) Honestly we're just a group of guys who like a family show. It's not their job to judge. If you decide to check out the channel don't argue with them they outnumber you.

...I don't see why we would. Oh wait, this is the brony fandom.

Autism should never be made fun

Yes it can. Anyone can be made fun of. Regardless, (I'm assuming) they're not making fun of Autism as much as they're making fun of bronies.

My question is how to stop the spread of ignorance when so many people are under it's influence it makes me so sad

Considering their view count, I don't think that's anything to worry about. At least for their channel.

And it's not my job to care about what they do either. I don't like it any more than you do but I realize this society isnt perfect and there will always be people like this. And i feel like by acknowledging their presence they are exerting influence they really shouldn't have over me. Let them do what they will do and just ignore them.

I think I'll take you up on that its really the only way to make sure you're not part of the problem. Like a guy said above bronies can do cringeworthy stuff but people shouldn't stereotype either. People also should try not to feed the trolls either. I'm glad I'm not the only one worried about all the ignorance in the world, thank you Everypony Edited by SergeantShy

I'm sorry you let these people tick you off and make you angry. I have asberger's, myself, and I don't get mad at them because I see those trolls and bullies who make fun of asbergers or autism for the sad, sorry, pathetic creatures they are. Still, I won't put up with any nonsense from them and I'll tell them what I think in no uncertain terms. That's usually enough to make them back off, except for the really stupid, stubborn ones and, although I'm normally one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, I still have enough of a dark side that I'll play with the really stubborn, stupid ones like a cat plays with a mouse.

Everyone and anyone on this thread who claims that men and women are fundamentally different and play strictly defined roles in society should go watch "Orlando" or choke on their own bigotry and die politely.

And on that note, I bow out of this conversation.

I really need to say one more thing here and then I'll be satisfied. Sure, those trolls make fun of us, insult us, put us down but do you know who we really are? We're the poets, the writers, the crafters of songs and music. We're the real trend setters, the geniuses, the inventors of things that people can't do without.

You know who was different, was unique, was like us?

Albert Einstein (did so bad with math in school his teachers thought he was retarded!)

Jonas Salk (creator of the Polio vaccine.)

Marie Curie (19th century female scientist who discovered the radioactive properties of radium.)

Mahatma Ghandi.

Steve Jobs.

Steven Hawking

Christopher Columbus

Charles Darwin

Leonardo Da Vinci

Vincent Van Gogh

Franklin D Rooseveldt

Walt Disney

Ernest Hemmingway

John Lennon

Oscar Wilde (19th century playwrite)

Amelia Earheart

Alfred Hitchcock

Michael Jackson

Sergey Brin (Russian co-founder of Google)

Benjamin Franklin

Thomas Edison

Henry Ford

Walt Whitman

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens)

Martin Luther King

To name a few.

How are they like us, you might ask?

Simple! being the kind of people that they were, it wasn't what the thought but how they thought it, how they saw the world and how they saw that they could change it. This made them unique in unimaginable ways and they changed the world.

There isn't anyone on this forum who, being different, thinking differently, seeing things in unique ways, doesn't have the potential to change the world!

Those trolls who start anti-brony or broni-cringe threads? Well, guess what? They're the ones who'll be serving bergers to us at McDonalds, cleaning our houses and doing nothing with their lives while those of us who decide to go on to change the world!

Ha. If only the assholes I went to school were like that, Poninamous.

They'd just punch me right in the eyeball if I stood up. Seriously I've gained so many injuries just from being bullied for being autistic!

WOW, while i was reading your post, i felt a intense pain in my heart, where i live, i didn't suffer from this, but, reading what you wrote, it's hard to just imagine such dirty humans, that can't prove they are good at something in life, and need to use brute force with other people just to feel more confident, really this kills my confidence that all humans can be united...

i'm Sorry if i've made mistakes, english isn't my main Language, but i'm trying to get better at it (if you see an error and wants to tell me, i'll correct and learn from it :yay: )

First best solution: Martial arts. Knowing how to defend yourself and carrying yourself with the confidence that you can defend yourself if you need to will stop more fights than it starts. You might have to beat a bully or two to get your point across but once that's done nobody'll mess with you, anymore.

That's what I did when I was a kid and it made all the difference.

Karate classes are usually pretty inexpensive, most running at about 25 bucks a week. You can go to as few or as many per month as you can afford. It'll take longer if you go once or twice a month but you can always use that extra time to practice and get good at what you learn in each new lesson.

After reading some of the comments on the videos it mamakes me really sad. Especially the ones that said they used to be bronies but quit and now make fun of them. I admit most of the videos are cringe worthy none of the people are doing anything other than having fun. One of the videos just had someone in a full body celestia costume and gave a little girl a ride. She looked happy. I shouldn't have looked at the comments.

... I dunno, man. I don't know why people act this way over minute and really stupid differences. Humans are so flawed and can be so vile to each other.

I personally am a very contradictory person. For instance, I procrastinate super hardcore. However, the one thing I hate more than anything is wasted time. So being hateful and angry is just a waste, in general. Everyone has moments, but to dedicate a channel, and battery life on your electronics to it... gods help us. Now, I wasn't rude or hateful, but I did leave a comment on that channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN4kUfZJ2WekPJ9irqCo9zQ/discussion

They make channels like that because trolling is fun, and bronies are a particularly easy group to troll. We could go out there calling them insecure and ignorant and whatever but we would solve nothing doing it because whatever we say they'll just laugh and go "u mad bro?"

Let them have their fun and don't bother with them. There will always be haters, even within our own group I presume. Let them hate and do what makes you happy. If they have a problem with it, they're not worth your time, really.

Yes I agree, if you get mad you just make the trolls satisfied and it will only get worse. The best thing to do I guess is to just keep walking down the path of life with you head high and a bold smile because you know the trolls don't even matter. There a mean people on the internet.

Giving attention to them fuels them.

Think of them as pirates who just seal around and post stuff.

I've got a mind to report them, but I don't know that they're actually breaking any guidelines with this. If they are, please, someone tell me, I'll happily flag them.

I don't think Youtube will take this as a serious case :(

Check out my latest creation: Be A Tree (MLP In Real Life)

If enough people complain, they might. I just wanna know if this falls under harassment/bullying as is written in the box to report someone. Cuz if not, I don't wanna bother others with complaints about nothing. But if so, I would, actually, like to report them. I wouldn't even care so much if I didn't care about the standing of my YT channel.

At the same time, though, I think they can be gotten on a DMCA. These videos are uploaded by them, and though they claim fair use, these videos seem to be, straight up, the originals. No alteration, no commentary, no parody, nothing. Just straight up things that other bronies have posted. And given the name of the channel, I'm pretty sure that none of the original uploaders have approved of the usage of these videos. There's also no accreditation nor mention of the original uploaders. So, there's that.
