Thoughts on Twilight's friends becoming Alicorns?

And that's the biggest shame of twilight she's never gonna be in your face about being an alicorn.  Nor is candice.

Where as had rarity or Or rainbow dash got it and someone hackled them about being an alicorn oh baby would they hear about lol

I possibly can't imagine the rest of her friends turning into Alicorns. If they did, the show would turn out into a disaster. Twilight becoming an Alicorn was worse enough.

Seriously though I highly doubt it and think only Twilight should be Alicorn/Princess. Apart from being friends with Twilight and meeting Celestia through said means I doubt the other members of the mane 6 have any relationship with Celestia to warrant making them Alicorns and it makes sense for Twili, it shows her progression as Celestia's student to princess and how far she's come on her journey of self discovery. For her friends to be Alicorns it would just be random and pretty unprompted. I personally like it the way it is and doubt they will all be Alicorns

BUT alicorns age much slower than normal ponies so well umm. again NO.But will celestia realize that twilights friends will eventually umm sorry but DIE umm heck yeah they will so will she put an eternally living spell on them or turn them in to alicorns IDK laurn it up to you..... Ok, as for Twilight Sparkle becoming a Alicorn ok sure its not to bad... ok at first it was really hard for me but over time I'm getting the hang of it. But as for the mane 6 being Alicorns! NO no, I will not stand for that...

I almost want to say "maybe it will happen" because when the alicorn Twilight rumours were lurking the community, I responded, "Hell no! They'd never do that!" And clearly, I was wrong. 

 

I'd prefer it not to happen. One alicorn mane 6 is enough. If there were an episode where they were granted alicorn powers for one mission, that'd be pretty neat not to mention a new toy idea for Hasbro to sell, but for permanent purposes, please, no thank you.

IT'S ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE FOR A NON-UNICORN TO BECOME AN ALICORN! An official book states that Cadence was a pegasus before she became an alicorn. Do I think they will all become alicorns? No. Is it possible? Absolutely.

 

Wow, really? That's something I didn't know. I always thought it'd be harder for a Pegasus to become one than a Unicorn, because a Pegasus would have to learn magic, and that seems more time consuming than learning to fly. 

 

But, no. I'm more than sure the rest of the Ponies won't become Alicorns, Twilight did because it was pretty much her graduation from Celestia's lessons.

I  hope that her friends will become alicorns too. I have seen that alicorns are immortal. Just look at Princess Luna/ nightmare moon. Besides, I can't stand to think about what would happen if Twilight 's friends died. I've read a fanfic like that.

I don't really care, but I would guess higher on that they would make them achieve their "destinies" which Lauren talked about... like...

Rarity owning the most famous dress-store in all of Equestria
Apple Jack growing the apple farm... or something
Dashie becoming a wounderbolt... etc...

The only thing I care about, is that they make more episodes, lots of more episodes, and wrap whatever story they have well into it. If they decide to make one alicorn per season, or one destiny per season, GREAT... But well, yeah, it doesn't really make any sense for anyone of them to become an alicorn. It would be somwhat more logical on Rarity, even if it wouldn't fit quite well it would be less fucked up than Apple Jack becoming an alicorn... now THAT would be weird!

I don't think they even can. At least not the same way was twilight did anyway. That only worked because she is the element of magic in conjunction with completing the spell.

Four princess -- nay, if the rumors of Princess Skyla are correct, five are enough. Besides, the others Mane5, whilst having strong characters of their own, have not "grown" as much as Twilight has. Celestia recognized this and made Twilight a princess accordingly.

 

That being said, I don't want to see the other Ponies reach that point. At least not anytime soon. It would just kill the "specialness" of being an Alicorn and a Princess of Equestria

I, personally, don't think Twi's friends should be become Alicorns. I know Hasbro wants new toys on the market, but add new characters! Don't tweak the old ones... I love em senseless the way they are. I am against Twi's friends becoming alicorns.

Most likely no because twilight is the only magic type so it would not make sense to take the others and mess up there point in the show entirely.

Actually them becoming an alicorn is a great idea for many resons 1. They could all govern there own place, Applejack would get applelosia, flutter shy would get the woodlands, etc etc 2. We could have a wider verity of episodes of them trying to harness there newfound powers, etc.

Now I know this post is a bit similar to someone elses, but they said Twilight turning them into the Alicorns, not them completing a hard task to become one.

 

You see, for starters, they're all in the Elements of Harmony (obviously).

They have all already completed hard task.

 

You see, the way Twilight turned into a Alicorn was completeing a very difficult, hard task.

 

I can see the same thing happening to the other 5. Like for example, Rainbow Dash doing something not even the Wonderbolts could do.

 

And also, in one of the episodes where the Cutie Mark Crusaders wanted to know how the ponies got their Cutie Marks. At that moment, they found out they all got their Cutie Mark at the same time.

 

With Hasbro always wanting new toys on the market, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

 

Well, at a recent writer's panel someone asked Meghan how they would even things out between the Mane Six and she just teased the line; "You'll Seeee!"

 

So, I think yes, both because of this and Hasbro's toy mandates which lead to both 'A Canterlot Wedding' and 'Twilicorn' since they are a toy company above all else and this would be a sensible move as an excuse to to manufacture and sell more toys, thus making a larger profit.

 

Which is wise from a marketing standpoint.

 

And as Meghan pointed out; 'all little girls want to be princesses'-and each member of the Mane Six was specifically designed to appeal to each personality within that demographic.

It would make up for the lack of credit Zecora has been given in the series after all she's done to help Ponyville.

 

Plus, she seems to be even more knowledgeable about magic and natural remedies than Twilight, was willing to help out a town who both hated and shunned her when she first arrived due to their xenophobia, and consistently offers guidance and advice on a regular basis whenever a crisis is or is about to occur (Bridle Gossip, Luna Eclipsed, The Cutie Pox, Magic Duel), so she definitely deserves it. 

 

She also seems to be far wiser and more experienced in potion making and the magical arts than Twilight, yet very few residents of Ponyville ever seem to go to her for help or advice.

I wouldn't, because I don't think there should be a bunch of Alicorns in Equestria. I like how there's only a few Alicorns. Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and the new Alicorn, Twilight Sparkle.

Not even once. The idea of each of them ruling separately would be basically the end of the show, and I personally would not want the show to end in such a manner. They need to be together in the end, as they are now. I would never want a reason for them to be separated.
