Hi, just introducing myself.   I am a new My Little Pony fan thanks to my 2 daughters who love everything MLP (my son loves them too but he won't admit it).  How do I put up a profile picture of my favorite pony?

Hey, DreamMonkey, and welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy your stay~ To change your profile picture you simply click your username at the top right, click "My Settings" and click "Change My Avatar" and either put the link to the picture or click "choose file" to pick a picture. :)

Oooh yay!~ Welcome! :D Kids are the ones to get others into ponies, it's sorta what happened to me. I gave into the latest generation of ponies thanks to the kids I work with. They're a blessing to be honest, they love MLP. I spoil them rotten by drawing them their favorite ponies and trading my repeated cards of the trading card game with them. They don't seem to mind! :P

 

Either way, once again, welcome to the forums! I really hope you enjoy your stay! From my experience, everyone is really sweet and so kind in the forums. So you're bound to have a great time. yay.png

Thanks for welcoming me in flutterinmyheart.  I was just reading one of your threads and thinking it was funny that the boys where you work don't like to admit they like the show.  My son is so like that, says he doesn't like them but runs in quick when my girls put it on netflix.  I am remembering all my favorites from when I was little and wishing I had of kept some from when I was little smile.png oh well, I can live it all again with them.

That is so cute of your son! Honestly, here at work it happens a lot. The boys in third and fourth grade refuse to admit they enjoy watching the show. A good amount give in because they also have sisters who watch it at home. :)

 

I think it's a beautiful thing to be able to relive those moments again. With a show like MLP:FiM, it's just heartwarming and brings many wonderful people together. The fact you can bond with your children or other kids alike makes me happy. I love kids and hopefully when I have some of my own I can also share these wonderful moments with them. ??? For now, I will continue to share the moments with my kiddies at work. wub.png

Ooh, I feel all lighthearted now! XD

I have no kids, because that would not be a good idea for a 13-year-old to have kids, but my friend who's only a few months older than me got me into MLP. Does that count as getting introduced to it by kids? I mean, it was over a year ago...

Glad to hear your children got you into the show, do you mind if I ask how old they are? I understand if you don't, I'm just being curious. I'm guessing they're kinda like very young age, but not totally sure.

Your right Randomfacts137 it would not be a good idea for a 13 year old to have kids.  Wait another 10 years at least :) I would say you were introduced by a kid but that is because my oldest daughter is 12 so 13 seems like a kid to me.  I must just be old ;)

I checked for the hidden monkeys but I couldn't find them.  They must have been hiding  ;)  I hope they don't monkey around with the keys and make me post something strange :)

Hi Zygen, I don't see any harm in telling you their ages.  They are 12,10 and  7.  Incase this makes me sound old.....let's just say I started younger than most people do now a days.  I met my husband while I was still in high school.  But than again, compaired to some of you, I am probably old.  Maybe I can be the voice of experience lol. Thanks for taking the time to welcome me to the forum :)
