Diamond Tiara's Personal Issue with Apple Bloom

@@DiscordAnarchy, It was more of a guess, I was more looking for a reason for Diamond Tiara being a bully/mean and quite often family issues can play a role in this!

 

We won't know until we have more episodes on Diamond Tiara and her family (although as mentioned above, we think we have found her mother!)

A coincidental colour correlation does not a good case for familial 'ffiliation make. Although, she definitely seems to be fearful of her mother finding out what she's been up to, and a nurse would have access to scalpels...

 

DT has had bad experiences with AB in the past, so (in her mind perhaps) it's become a mutually antagonistic relationship.

Diamond Tiara is just being mean spirited towards Applebloom because she either has self esteem issues or because she's a controlling kind of pony based on her family and many ponies kind of fear them, but Applebloom doesn't necessarily fear Diamond Tiara so that makes her be assertive towards her.

Why must you people constantly question this? It's a show for kids. It doesn't have to make psychological sense. Diamond Tiara is the stereotypical bully. She's nice to the CMC in Ponyville Confidential because she's getting her way. It's not that difficult to figure out.

That unfortunately seems like the most possible reason why. Diamond Tiara is just a brat because the writers make her that way. They want to give us that clear pony we want to hate on.

 

Hopefully they can give Diamond Tiara some justification for acting the way she does. It would make her very interesting for a bully character.

Makes sense to me she is only going after Apple Bloom, bullies tend to like to find themselves one or more "main targets" because they know they will get a reaction out of them, and by that make themselves feel more powerful and stuff.

 

Also to you saying that is not realistic a bully would go after a kid just to be mean and empower themselves without any other reason... well trust me as someone who have been bullied to the point of murder attempts, it's fairly realistic. Also kids don't tend to be reasonable.
