"Yep," Eve said, suddenly feeling rather uncomfortable., although she couldn't name why. "I'm Evergreen. It's nice to see you found the place alright." She stared at the mare for a couple moments longer before extending a soil-crusted hoof to shake. "May I ask you your name?"

Hop hesitated a moment before shaking Eve's hoof. "Cadence, but I go by Hop." she said with a cheery voice. "I uh, really like your fish. What are they exactly?" she asked turning back to the pond and watching the fish swim around some more. She began to ponder about Eve as well. Surely she would know better than to welcome her guest looking like such, unless she had been dealing with some plants. Still there shouldn't have been an excuse.

Eve's face split in a broad smile. "Nice to meet ya, Hop! These here are Amblezonian Flying Fish. They're sediment eaters. Actually, I was just about to go for a bit of a swim, clean up a bit. Been working to get this party ready all day, you know?" Eve pulled her satchel off, and set the Star Rose on it tenderly, and turned to face the water.

Now this was something Hop wanted to see. Never before had she heard of sediment eating fish and to get a spices from the Amlezonian areas amazed her. "Yeah, I understand. Take your time, I'm not in a rush or anything." she said in a rush. Hop then laid down next to the waters edge, dipping her hooves into the cool water.

Amour paused in her chattering to Blue Moon and stared blankly at the entertainment. Why in the wide wide world of Equestria is he staring at me like that? She glanced behind her and everywhere else, but couldn't find another pony except for Blue Moon and an empty bench. Maybe he's staring at Blue? Maybe I should tell him he doesn't trot that way...It was then that the entertainer trotted off to approach two ponies sitting beside each other on the bench. One of them being a pretty mare.

 

Amour's eyes glowed with excitement. So he had been staring at her! Oh they look adorable together! I can hear the wedding bells already! She giggled to herself, and nudged Blue Moon. "Say! Don't you think those two look gorgeous together! There might be some turmoil due to that other stallion, but I can totally make it work, don't you think?" she squealed.

Frost raised an eyebrow, laughing at the snakepony's verbal slip. "Likewise, Violet." He glanced back off towards the lake, pausing for a moment to realize that he was wearing sunglasses. At night. The day had gone by quickly, and he had clearly lost track of time. He raised a hoof, pushing them behind his ears and lifting the dark aura from his eyes, looking up at the rising moon. Much better.

 

Flinching at the unfamiliar voice behind him, the pegasus glanced over his shoulder at the batpony that was introducing himself to Violet, watching him jump in fright. "Come now, man, snakes aren't scary. They're misunderstood."

Blue Moon wasn't really paying much attention to many things around him, but turned his head to Amour when she spoke to him.

Violet smiled at Frost and was just about to speak again until she was cut off by another colt. She smiled at him and opened her mouth again to reply...until he jumped back and hissed.
Her lip quivered and she stared at him for a split second as a couple tears rolled down her cheeks. *A bat...p-pony thing...just as w-weird as me...and even he thinks I'm a freak.* She thought, putting her head in her hooves. "I'm such a freak." She muttered, getting off the bench and quickly slithering back towards the maze, still sobbing, wanting to get lost this time.

Her mane and tail, which had been clumpy and matted with filth, were sleek and shiny, and a lime streak that had been hiding under the muck had become vibrant and beautiful. Her coat had become a pale gold, as well. It was quite the astonishing change.

 

She emerged from the water, and looking quite unaware of how good-looking she had suddenly become, she walked back over and reequiped her satchel and Star Rose, and laid down next to Hop, still looking rather wet. "They'll be well fed tonight, then. I won't have to dump loose any loose soil in the pool later."

Draco's ears perked up "Miss Remmy I'll talk to you later," he said as he began to run towards the sound of crying. He found the Naga mare crying "Hold it miss!" Draco yelled out to her sliding infront of her quickly as he panted. "Phew your  a quick one milady," Draco said with a smile. "Let me guess a lot of these ponies are startled by your appearance correct?" Draco asked.

Frost raised a hoof to protest, but watched as the snakepony slithered off back towards the maze once more. Well. That went less than stellar. Lowering his hoof, he glared at the batpony. Nice job breaking it, loser, he grumbled mentally. The pegasus was about to chase after her, wings at the ready, but stopped short as he heard a loud splash behind him, getting soaked with water. He didn't hate being wet, but this was unexpected. Oh, and it was cold. Cringing from the sudden cold flush, he checked his guitar case. Good thing it was weatherproof.

 

Shaking off the water from his coat, Frost gazed out from underneath his wet mane at Eve. "Hey!" He called out to her. "Warn a brother next time, will ya?"

She pushed passed him and wiped the tears form her cheeks. "What else do you think it is?" She muttered, making her way back to the direction of the maze. "Just leave me alone, I don't want to be around anypony." She said.

Draco walked up to her and pulled out his handkerchief "Here," he said handing it to her. "Now have I freaked out abouyt you milady?" Draco asked with a smile. "Now may I be so bold as to ask you your name milady?" Draco asked with a confident smile. He then got an idea he began to chuckle "So miss what do you enjoy doing?"

"Interesting." was all she said, too flustered to come up with an actual sentence. Hop stole another glance towards Eve. "So, what else do you have around the garden besides the pond? I've heard this place has a maze?" she said trying to make some sort of conversation.

Eve nodded. "Yeah... There's a maze. And an orchard, a vineyard, some hedge statues, and floral meadows. It's pretty wonderful." She smiled vaguely. Her smile faltered slightly at the look she noticed Hop shooting at her, but Hop was saved by a timely distraction.

Eve looked around to look at who had called, and had been halfway through vocalizing an apology when her voice caught in her throat. "I'm sorr- eep!"

 

She murmured a "be right back," to Hop and trotted over to this colt. She toyed with her mane as she asked, "Are you... I... um... Are you who I think you are?" She seemed to be positively quivering with nervouscitement.

Violet sighed and stopped moving, turning around to look at the colt, taking the hoofkerchief (Because ponies) in her hoof.
She wiped the tears from her cheeks and blew her nose before replying. "Y-You've s-seen Snake P-Ponies before. Th-That's why you reacted n-normally." She choked out, more tears replacing the ones that had fallen. She gave him back the hoofkerchief before shaking her head. "Just leave me alone." She said, entering the maze and looking back at Frost...to see if the other bat pony was there...which he was, making Violet sob again as she turned a  corner.

Slide Grease watched in disgust as this other stallion stomped right in and began to take his mare from him. He was about to shove him off, until he left.

 

"Well, um, where did we leave off....oh right!" He grabbed her hoof and lightly shook it. "Please to meet you Remmy. I'm Slide." My stupid last name doesn't need to be included. "Although if you ask me, Amour is a beautiful name."

 

Slide stood up and stretched out his back hooves. "Do want to get up and walk around? I hear there's a maze around here somewhere."

Remmy's eyes widened slightly. "Hehe maze? I dunno I'd rather walk around to not get lost. But anyways it's nice to meet you Slide." She stood up with him. "So how goes it?" There were better ice breakers out there, but Remmy was oblivious to them.

He chuckled as he thought 'Well time to make a pony angry tonight. It's never a party till someone starts a ballroom blitz,'

Violet kept going, as fast as she could...until she came to a dead end where she stopped and leaned into the hedge. "I knew I shouldn't have come." She muttered, looking up at the darkening sky as she wiped a few more tears from her cheeks.
She leaned against the hedge and stayed there for a few moments before she sighed and shook her head and stood up straight...crying and running away was going to get her nowhere. She knew she had to just relax and have fun...and maybe find Frost again.
She took a deep breath before she made her way through the maze, in search for an exit once again.

His ears perked up at the last thing Minty said - never seeing him again. If he were eating food, indeed now would be a time he would have probably had to choke it down. Instead, he just had to pretend he didn't hear it for now. Didn't want her getting the wrong impression after all...or was it?

"So uh, how about we go and find our hostess then, shall we? We can ask about snacks if you like, too." He asked as he stood up, taking one more look into the pools reflection, and seeing about a dozen eyes looking back at him.

Hop let out a short sighs as Eve went off in another direction and figured now would be a good time to look around. She quickly found herself going towards the maze, once again not paying much attention to the others. The walls closed behind her which made her jump but none the less continued onward.

((Whoops sorry about that, fixed it! And if you read my characters page you would see that she actually really sucks at fixing people up. xD But I can work with that! ^^))

 

Amour glowed with pride and excitement. "Yes! Yes I am aren't I--" She broke up when she noticed the snake pony slithering away and crying. She lowered her head a bit, glancing left and right. Is she crying because of me? She thought. She didn't like making people cry, but snakes were just so icky! But you need to apologize! No matter how icky--Um, no matter how much snakes scare you. She raised her head and began cantering after the snake mare, giving Blue Moon a wave over her shoulder. "I'll be right back!" she called.

 

She dashed into the maze after the pony without taking time to think, that it was a maze. "Uh oh." She squeaked, seeing that the pony she had gone into speak with was nowhere to be found. But she could hear movement. And movement meant ponies! Or the snake pony, which was even better!

 

"Hello?" She called. "Miss um...Snake Equine?"
