Thoughts on "Cupcakes HD"?

Now forgive me that I tell you a truestory that I first watched Happy Tree Friends eons before cupcakes, to make the character limit...and I'm old...er than a few ppl.

Bloody hell do I remember those guys. Wow, no wonder I felt no differences in my mental sanity after reading Cupcakes, since those animations make Cupcakes look like a routine surgery.

Ha I liked it, the music and animation was awesome! The story not so much, because of all the gore and what not, but I often play the video and watch when they dance but stop when it gets all pyshco.

It was kinda entertaining,when i wasn't hiding from those creepy faces,Pinkie Pie made!

 

The music was great!

 

The dancing looked really fun!

As an Andrew WK fan, I enjoyed the music, and I will say the animation quality was very good. I didn't actually watch the whole thing though, and probably won't, because I'm just not a fan of grimdark in general and also not a fan of heavy violence or "shock for the sake of shock" (especially in a cartoon like MLP, it just feels forced and out of place).

 

Same reason I don't like the .MOV series. Really talented work on the part of the creator, but I feel like people try to shoehorn "Ren & Stimpy" humour into everything too often and it just feels tired and cliché now. Just in my opinion.

 

But yeah, do love that song though.

I dunno why so many people found cupcakes disturbing. I was just raging at every grammatical mistake and the levels of cheesy within the jokes.

Yes, the video is weird. In fact, it's kind of scary for me. But I'm actually talking with the animator who made it (His DA name is misterdavey. He's a nice guy, actually. He's very messed up, though)

But, in all seriousness, the video is really weird and discusting. I mean, Pinkie Pie is cutting Rainbow Dash open and spilling her guts all over and making a treat out of them.

Doesn't get weirder than that.

Nothing ever puts me off cupcakes.

I don't really care either way in the video, I don't care about music or graphics really unless graphics are so horrible you cant see anything...

But yea compared to Happy Tree Friends I think cupcakes is weaker :I

I saw it back in mid-January 2012, and yes, I liked it that video a lot! I used to have it downloaded on my old phone until I deleted it by accident. The fan-fiction is extremely overrated, though.

The methods i used in the video were not too resourceful in fact usually i'd keep intestines away from my mouth since it really screws up the taste in the actual cupcakes which means i loose money.

As for using the skins of of the ponies i've killed as a costume that's extremely counter productive, after all one pony is usually enough for just one suit, the Horns and wings myths are all true though.

Get ready to die was an ok song i guess but i'd normally use some "ballon party" or some other lively songs that don't mention death but then again there was this one time where i did use WK's Get ready to die song.

Well silly... let me see...

 

Okay let me explain, i have this sort of draw system that i use to pick ponies at random with, everypony has a number and every week a new number has to be drawn, however there are certain instances where i'll remove numbers from that said lottery system.

Dashie's number was drawn and it was the happiest moment of my life, to think i got to spend the last moments of my best friends life with her will always make me happy.

Now as to why i used her or other ponies as part of the recipe well it's fun and pinkie pie looooves fun also it's a great way of disposing of the body.

I mostly keep the video around for when I want to listen to the song but I still really love the video and showed it to one of my friends who is a blossoming brony. Thankfully it didn't scare him away from the fandom just from ths video.
