What's the worst way to die in your opinion? And how would you rather die.

I've always thought that drowning would be the worst way to die. It's slow and extremely painful, by the way it looks. Even if you hold your breath, your body will force you to breathe at some point, and well, we all know how much it hurts to choke on a little water...imagine how bad it has to burn if your lungs fill with water...ouch.

 

Personally, if I were to die of unnatural causes (like old age), I'd want to go quickly. None of that suffering crap. And I don't want to live through it either. When it's time for me to die, I don't want any chance of survival. It's 100% I'll stay alive or 100% I'm gonna die. 

 

Of course, I'm still only 21 so the thought of death is still pretty scary to me, although I've accepted death as a part of life. I mean, we all live to die. It can only be delayed but never stopped.

Probably the worst way to die would be starvation, then overdosing on paracetamol,
incredible pain and very slow

I think the worst way to die is having regrets and saying good byes to my love ones. I don’t care how or when I die, but I just hope I made the best of it with the myself and the people around me.

There are a lot of terrible ways to die I guess: Burning alive, chemical burn, freezing to death, suffocation, starvation, dehydration, dying from a long painfull illness like cancer ... I think these are the most terrible I can think of.

The best would be dying while sleeping or at least a short death like a sudden brain aneurism for example.

If someone just shot me or if someone killed me in any way for that matter. That and death in general is my biggest fear and I wish it didn’t ever have to happen.

I always thought that death by paintballs would be the worst way to go.  Think about it: they hit hard enough to cause pain and raise welts, but not hard enough to cause real damage.  Think about just how many paintballs you'd have to get shot with to actually die!  You have to get machine gunned with paintballs for hours and hours, possibly days, until they gradually chipped away at your skin enough for you to bleed to death.

As far as how I want to go.... hmm....  On one of the various Planet Earth episodes where they covered the frozen poles, they showed this sprawling glacier with an icy blue river of melt-water running along it, and then at one point the water drops straight down into a pitch black tube which the the water had eroded through the glacier.  I think they said the tube was, like, a mile deep or some ridiculous amount like that.  I want to strip naked, jump into the river, and go down that hole.  World's greatest water slide.  Think about how epic and terrifying that would be.  Pitch black, icy waterfall, a mile straight down into the abyss.  That hole is one of the scariest things I've ever seen.  That would be a pretty exciting death.

Acute radiation poisoning. Your DNA is completely destroyed and your body basically falls apart over what could be several weeks.

Any death that doesn't destroy the brain first while it's still aware is going to be excruciatingly painful.

So, the best way to go out would be something quick or something that happens while you're comatose, like a bullet to the head or passing in your sleep.

The worst way to die is while being tortured, because then you just marinate in the fear of it all. The best way to go out is in a blaze of glory. For myself, I'm thinking fireworks.
