   So I was sitting in front of my tv last night watching a few good movies on Netflix and so I came up with this question. Well I for one reallly do miss Rugrats to be honest. Or maybe other old nicktoons that I enjoyed such as Hey Arnold! or The Wild Thornberries.

I miss the show Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. I always watched it in my childhood and they never really make shows like that anymore.

I personally miss Invader Zim quite a lot. After the new season ends, I'm going to be missing How I Met Your Mother as well. Also, any anime I have watched ever.

If there is one show that I miss quite a bit, it'd HAVE to be Invader Zim. I loved that show so much as a child, own all 3 seasons of it as well . I just really wish that they actually made a true ending to the show instead of an abrupt ending with a x-mas special.

Phew, there are some shows I miss... But not just cartoons.

 

Star Trek

 

Okay, five shows, six if you count the animated series as well, were more than every TV-series-universe ever had, but I miss the feeling of watching new episodes. Star Trek: Enterprise was not as bad as some people say (in my opinion), but it felt kinda wrong to see the possibly last series for years end so early.

 

Stargate

 

Pretty much the same. Even though Stargate Universe was really not that good and they cancelled it, I found it sad that it ended and most likely the whole franchise will never get a second chance.

 

House

 

It had to end, I know. But it was really entertaining.

 

ER

 

Perhaps the best medical drama television series ever. The characters, the realism, the ideas... At some point it started to become ridiculous, so actually ending it was the best option. But after fifteen seasons...  I had accustomed to watching it.

 

Avatar: The Last Airbender

 

I know we have Korra and Korra is actually good. But it just felt so unique that it really hurt to see it end after only three seasons.

Pull up a chair folks, it's NOSTALGIA REVIEWING TIME X3

 

• The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes - Usually, it's DC that has the good Cartoons and Marvel that does the good Movies. However here, it sort of inverted itself for a while. The show actually managed to successfully modernise some of the more obscure parts of Avengers lore and introduced it's audience to a lot of the other heroes & villains - Gravion, Ultron, Vision, Black Panther...I could keep citing them here all day. Combined with some pretty decent writing and characterisation, it's a damned shame this show got dismembered and then cut short by...Avengers Assemble -_-
• Shadow Raiders - From the days when Mainframe was good! Actually come to think of it, this was probably the show that marked the end of their golden era, considering they went to work on that old Heavy Gear show someone thought it'd be a brilliant idea to cut Dream Pod 9 out of talks on. Actually, that's probably how best I'd compare this show - it's the Heavy Gear they planned, but thought would go over people's heads. In even simpler terms, it's Game of Thrones IN SPHESS, with everyone trying to team up to fight Unicron.
• BattleTech - Screw Exo Squad, the old BattleTech cartoon nukes that show from orbit! It also had a limited run of about 13 episodes and ended on a Cliffhanger. Cue RAEG.
• Roughnecks: Starship Trooper's Chronicles - Cue the granddaddy to most of these, Roughnecks was my favourite show growing up. It was also never finished because of Budgeting problems, the show slipping into Syndication before it was time, the unauthorised airings on the Sci-Fi Channel...at the very least, finish the story!

But eh, I guess I miss most of the shows I watched.

 

The old Pokémon Episodes, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Avatar The Last Airbender, Scooby Doo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, dexter's laboratory, Kids Next Door, Duck Tales, Johnny Bravo, Recess, The Powerpuff Girls, Fairly Odd Parents, Tom and Jerry, Grim & Evil, Totally Spies!, Martin Mystery

 

to mention a few.

 

Though I got all episodes of Tom and Jerry on my computer <3

American Dragon: Jake Long.

 

It's got only 2 seasons. And it had a great potential. But nooooo, Disney was all like "Oh, Kim Possible gets a higher audience! Let's ditch ADJL and work on Kim Possible!" (It has 6 seasons).

Just about all the older cartoons. Some of them were remade, Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry are the two that come to mind. The remakes are okay, but you just can't top the originals.

Can I say My Little Pony? We are still waiting for Season 4 and I'm missing it a lot.

 

If it had to be something from my childhood, then Fosters Home for Imaginary friends for sure.

I might even be able to say I miss Chowder. He was awesome.
