It is called Celestia's School for gifted unicorns, I'd assume there would be more then one student. And who knows, when they grow older, Celestia might offer them an assignment and they might send letters to her updating them on their findings. Fghik 360 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 I could see that as a possibility, Trixie is gifted in magic. Though if she was in the academy, wouldn't Twilight of recognized her? Simple answer would be: drop out."It wasn't fast enough for the great and powerful trixie" I think this could make a nice episode. Twilight winds up in the library's archives and reads the letters from past students, current students, and (ZOMGFUTURESTUDENTS?!?!?) All about different aspects of life. She'll realize there's more to the world than friendship. Then a bunch of spinoff series will show up "Mafia is magic," "Teamwork is magic," "Monarchy is magic," "Taking over an innocent civilization and becoming the sole dictator making sure they worship you day and night because you have wings AND horns is magic" 2 But what do I know? I'm just a stupid kid. ҉ .Eternal ¸.•'´¯Chaos¯´'•.¸Comes¸.•'´¯With¯´'•.¸Chocolate¸.•'´¯Rain ҉
DJ MUFF1N D3RP 322 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 There could be other students out there sending letters to Celestia, but none of them probably get as much attention as Twilight and her friends' letters. The reason for this being that Twilight is Celestia's apprentice in the magical arts and basically a daughter to her. It's party time, ponies! Yellow Diamond 7,569 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 Twilight is clearly Celestia's star pupil, the one directly under her tutelage. That implies Celestia having other students to whom she teaches magic and other related topics. But Twilight and Celestia possess a special relationship as student and mentor which probably isn't shared with anyone else taught by Celestia. I imagine that given her thousand year or so existence, Celestia had a number of various students who became star pupils; they might have gone on to either instruct magic or hold prestigious positions in Equestria. I would be shocked if there isn't eventually a story involving a former student of Celestia who decides to use her magic for evil, forcing Twilight to go hoof-to-hoof with said ex-student. It seems to be such a natural progression given the existence of a school for magic users. 5 Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te.

Maybe along with "Friendship", princess also gets letters with lessons on things like "Parenting", "Foreign Affairs"..."Revenge". (Ok maybe the last one are lessons that Luna reads...) What do you think?? "Friendship" is a very broad topic, is the underpinnings of all kindness which is the glue that holds all of society and human pony happiness together. Not to mention, The Elements of Harmony were the force that founded Equestria and have saved Equestria many times. All of this makes it a very special subject, possibly the most important to ever exist. Funny how under-researched it is IRL, since the part about it being the glue that holds society together and creates meaningful human happiness is true IRL, too... I guess it would be really hard for a university to get funds for researching "Friendship", and instead would get a lot of gags, smirks, and angry executives. Better give it another title... "Psychology applied to human social interaction"? Revenge? Yeah, Hamlet sends her letters about that. He's hard at work on it. Or was, anyways... In the end Horatio had to send the final report. You can read about it. Shakespeare wrote it as a fictional play called Hamlet that closely followed the events of what actually happened and what he learned about revenge... Be warned, though, a few small details were changed because Shakespeare turned the characters into fictional humans. Gives it a bit of a silly feel, but the story and lesson about revenge are still true. Twilight is clearly Celestia's star pupil, the one directly under her tutelage. Although maybe she has some other students out there studying the magic of love and such I was thinking maybe she has other students until I saw this, but this is a pretty good reason she'd only have Twilight, and later add the other mane 5. She has a special school named after her, but that doesn't necessarily mean she individually teaches any of the students. I mean, the vast majority of universities in the world are named after people, but that doesn't mean they teach them. Dear Princess Celestia, We managed to work out the last few kinks with the starting mechanism; we can now successfully start a fission reaction on demand, provided fuel is available. Starswirl the Trixie 975 February 19, 2012 Share February 19, 2012 Her request for all the Mane 6 to write her letters is simply so that she can keep updated on what's happening with the "Holders of the Elements". Celestia is not trying to learn any lessons from what they write, and she clearly does not give this degree of attention to everypony. Her motives are, quite simply, political: To keep an eye on her most powerful weapon (the Elements), protecting the Holders and ensuring that they grow increasingly loyal to her and do not forget the lessons of harmony. 1 #SOCKS

Oh, I wasn't even thinking of her purpose in having them write to her Actually, I think it's more to do with having them learn than her learn, and I bet she enjoys getting the refresher, too. From my experience, and undoubtably she has plenty from a 1000+ year life, you don't know what you know until you try to write it. And you learn the most when you try to teach. It's like the brony audience. We should know all this stuff, We think we should know all this stuff, it's basic, but it's still great and uplifting to hear "refreshers", so to speak. Silverhoof 2,844 February 19, 2012 Share February 19, 2012 Celestia trapped the monsters of Equestria in reservations like the Everfree Forest. The monsters (many of whom are magic), now live in rapidly evolving environment full of intensly magical flora and fauna. The magical content of these reservations is increasing at a dramatic level, and bleeding off into Equestria--threatening the magic barriers that keep the monsters imprisoned. Further this magic is leaking into another dimension and threatening to destroy both that dimension and Equestria. Celestia needs to bleed off the excess magic. spreading it thin so no one gets hurt. Cue a tragic incident. Trixie. She ran away from Ponyville only to meet up with the Princess. Celestia showed Trixie the statues in the Canterlot garden, making an offer Trixie could not refuse. Trixie is now an agent serving the Princess right here on earth. Taking human shape, she reports to anotherEquestrian agent, Lauren Faust. Together they are working to spread the magical influence ffrom the Everfree forest all across the earth using existing satelites. Faust developed the show and its dramatic (100% magic enhanced) influence, to prepare humans for the eventual result: Ponification. One aspect of this magical influence is the Bronies. The love for the show is a sign of more than just mere fandom, but rather they will be the first to transform and cross over into Equestria. These will be Celestia's abassadors when Earth is ponified and pulled into Equestria. The Bronies will reach out to their former peoples like no one else can, and they will teach one of the physical laws of Equestrian physics: friendship is Magic. If you are a brony, and open to a particular shape: pegasus, unicorn, or earth pony. Then you are very likely to take on that shape in Equestria in just a few short years. Most of these bronys have developed OCs that they will eventualy resemble (except the alicorn OCs, those are just vanity and may result in a random pony shape). Mind you, Celestia is not doing thus for conquest or power. Events are getting out of hand and this is the only way she knows to save the 7 billion lives on earth! --so if you see Trixie, do NOT blow her cover. Thank you.
