ooc The Twelve New Elements: Elements of Emotion OOC Chat (Closed)

Plot:

It has been several years since three of the four Princesses died, and all of Equestria has mourned. 

A year ago,  an evil, powerful pony named Poison Hex threatened Equestria, and Princess Twilight Sparkle and the Bearers of Harmony went to defeat it. 

They were only partially successful. 

Poison Hex was very powerful, and managed to separate the Bearers of Harmony from their respective Elements long enough to poison them. They retrieved their Elements and used them against Poison, but were only able to seal her away due to their weakened, poisoned state.

They died before they could be healed, and as they did, Twilight used the last of her energy to perform a spell that was intended to disconnect the six mares from their Elements and protect the Elements until they found new Bearers.

 

The spell did not go as planned.

Instead of disconnecting and protecting the Elements of Harmony, she created twelve new Elements, the Elements of Emotion, and the Elements of Harmony lost their power as their Bearers died. these new Elements were found just a week ago.

 

Sunny Dew, one of Celestia's former top students, second only to Twilight Sparkle, mourned the losses as well. She had been appointed to become the newest Princess, and her coronation was soon.

She was the first to receive word of the new Elements, and quickly wrote and sent letters to several ponies in Equestria.  Now, she is on her way to Ponyville.

 

 

 

Setting:

You receive a scroll from the Princess-to-be, Sunny Dew, regarding the new Elements.

 You also receive the following:

-A map of Ponyville with a circle surrounding the meet-up point

-A written letter to give to the train conductor instructing them to give you a ticket, free of charge, to Ponyville.

-A side note telling that these Elements are not the same as the originals, and that this will be explained later.

 

You decide to go to Ponyville. You think you have a chance to be one of the Bearers, so you pack up a few things and go on your way to the train station.

 

 

Rules:

-1 Pony per person (except for me, as i'm going to be my OC, Poison Hex (later on), and Sunny Dew, as well as NPCs to talk with the background ponies who were there but are not going to be an Element..) 

 

-No godmodding which also means no controlling other characters unless you have the player's consent.

 

-No alicorns and nothing OP. I want these to pretty much be ponies that could fit in a SOL. Normal, like the Mane 6 thought they were before they found out they were the Elements.

 

-I will decide who goes to which Element after we have gotten our twelve main characters.

 

-Not much swearing, only if you really think your character would swear at that moment. 

 

-Talk like a PONY and know the parts of a pony. I hate it when players make their OCs say "people". ponies do not know what people are, so say ponies.

 

-Have a basic understanding of pony anatomy and names of pony parts. I hate when a RPer goes:  ___ wrapped her arms around ___ They are forelegs, not arms! They also don't have hands. I have seriously seen "he turned around to give his friend the finger" in a pony fanfic. PONIES DO NOT HAVE FINGERS!

 

-Good grammar and spelling is key.

 

-Keep a consistent tense (past tense is preferred as the RP will flow better that way) and  keep it all in a third-pony point of view.

 

-Romance is allowed, but must be PG-13 at highest and don't let it overtake the RP.

 

 

The Elements shall be kept secret until we get the "Mane 12"

Anyway, there will be an event, but it will be cut short by a monster from the Everfree. It will target the Mane 12, as well as some others, and chase them to the Forest. Once inside, they will chase them until they see a clearing, which has a barrier of magical protection around it. Everypony will have to work together to find out what happened and to get out of the Everfree.

 

First, start with your character getting the letter and going to Ponyville, then in your next post you are free to converse until everyone is there.

Already interested the second I saw this. If I may ask, can you just join in as an element pony or do you have to fill out something? Since I want to join in as Moon Wave, but there wasn't enough detail on if I could or not.

Woo, already there are people.

I'll be gone most of the day, unfortunately, and I',m not sure if I'll be able to connect until Sunday :( bad timing :(

 

Anyway so far everyone's good, I haven't looked at Lyona or Midnight but I will when I get the chance.

(It was a pretty nice premise, but it might be a bit hard to handle two RPs at the same time, so it would be better if you do it after this one :3)

Ah great I thought I might have been too late. I'm not sure if I want to use Dog Ears or Blaze Finder. They both fit in SOL type of RPs but I'm just not sure which one... I'll get the links in a second.

Alright, I read through, and I don't think Sunset would fit. So that leaves Dawn and Chamois.

While Dawn is very interesting and i'd love to have her, and she would be very interesting as an EoE, she doesn't seem like the kind of pony who would take part in something like this, and she may get overwhelmed.

So, I think Chamois would fit best.

 

@@Ampharos, 

Nope, not too late. I think you should be Blaze, as I can only think of one emotion for Dog, and it's already been taken by Winter Chill.(Penguin is sort of like a Co-DM, he helped me think of stuff for this, so I let him choose what Emotion he wants Winter Chill to be.)

The Reason I Used 'Anyone' Before Is Because John Is A Griffin, And so Are Most Of My Other OC's, So I Tend To Just Use That While Talking In General, Although I Can Only Use Ponylingo If You Want.

Also, I Don't Capitalize While RPing.

Either way, I read both profiles and couldn't come up with anything for Zatiko, but I have one for Peppery Mint, so.... yeah.

Pretty soon, I'm just trying to figure out the elements. I have all the Elements, it's just that some of the ponies don't really fit with any, or the personalities and backstories don't give me enough info.

I have your pony sorted out but I'm stuck on Lyona, Blaze Finder, Midnight Blade, Moon Wave, Fire Sharp, and Amour.

I'll try to figure it out but i may have to askk for other OCs.

 

 

ATTENTION ALL!

Not all the Elements are necessarily positive emotions! For example, Chamois Vine will be the Element of Sadness, and Sweet Symphony may be Fear... So your OCs do not necessarily have to be perfectly happy!

Fire sharp could be a couple of things like... the element of protection, because she goes out and fights wars and comes back and helps ponies out. Or maybe the element of Depression, again the wars she's fought in and such. Just to help you out, I know how frustrating it is to suit things for the OC
