Have you ever wanted a poseable pony? Are articulated models offered by Hasbro a little, let's say honestly, lame?

 

Heck, I sound like an advertiser, but what this guy on etsy is doing is downright awesome!

 

He has combined two awesome things- ball jointed dolls   and ponies   and the result is..... Tadadadamm!

Of course, later comes all the fun with painting, wigs, and creating your very own perfect OC, everything that ball jointed dolls are all about!

Huh.  Those are awesome!  I imagine they'd be pretty useful for pony artists, like those jointed wooden art dolls you can get for the human figure.  Are these 3D printed?  Also, could you post a link to his actual store?  The link you have just gave me a pic of the Alicorn and pony.

Sorry for link missing! Fixed it! Yes, he's 3d printing. If a human BJD wouldn't be first in my list and I wouldn't have 3 brushies sitting to be customized and I would be bucking rich, I would get myself one. If my father was Filthy Rich, I would comission that guy to make me a Big Mac type stallion!

It reminds me of those human wooden people on sticks artists use to draw ! Would be cool to get one of these and then take the time to paint it so it looks exactly right ! Like a next level warhammer model!

Amm it says ''9.5cm tall, 6cm in length, 3.75 cm wide''' or earth pony, so roughly like g4 brushies.

 

Well, it's not too expensive for BJD. This tinie At lest for ponies you do not have to spend the same amount of cash for suitable wardrobe (I'f you don't want to)
