I always thought that Derpy was the best pony. But when I made poll on Fanpop "Is Apple Bloom better than Derpy?", most users answered "Yes" because they think she's overrated. (Well, she IS overrated, but actually was worth to)...

So will Bloomie take the "best pony" place after Derpy? Or no?

Best pony is a subjective term, and personally, my four best ponies are:

 

• Rarity
• Octavia
• Princess Celestia
• Twilight Sparkle

I prefer Derpy over Apple Bloom. Although Derpy can be a bit overrated sometimes, she's still adorable.

 

Bloom's not even my favorite crusader. Sweetie Belle takes that spot.

Hmmm...both Apple bloom and Derpy are cute. I'd have to say I prefer Apple bloom a little bit more than I do Derpy, because Apple bloom gets screen time. Derpy is just an over rated background pony. I like 'em both but I prefer Apple Bloom.

This poll is actually pretty darn pointless if you look at it, like in each persons own diverse perspective.

 

One can not simply say that a certain is best pony and assume that is a fact.

 

Too many different opinions on whose best pony will disagree with your view as well them disagreeing/agreeing with each other. It all varies.

 

I personally think Apple Bloom is freakin adorable.

 

But she is not best pony, and neither is Derpy.

 

Apple Bloom's cuter than Derpy though, in my opinion at least.

 

Pinkie Pie though is best overall pony though.

 

I can never in a million years see Apple Bloom overtopping Pinkie Pie as best pony.

I like Derpy and Applebloom both equally actually, they and Scootaloo are tied with Pinkie Pie for the 3rd favorite pony. Whether Applebloom or Derpy is best pony is of course a matter of opinion, most people that say *insert ponies name* is best pony really mean that that pony is their favorite.

Seriously though, like how the Mane Cast are treated as Protagonists with Twilight being The Protagonist of those protagonists, Apple Bloom I think gets special treatment of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. That said, there would likely be more material of her, therefore being more cause for more fans.

3. Apple Bloom is good but I like Sweetie Belle more. (But you can't beat Granny Smith, Sweetie)

Out of the cutie mark crusaders, Sweetie Belle is best pony.  Best  BEST pony is Fluttershy, Rarity is a close second.  I just never got into the Derpy craze.

 

So I picked neither.

I'm honestly not a fan of Derpy at all, but I luvz me some Apple Bloom. She's not QUITE the best pony, though...that spot would have to go to a few other ponies!

You can't really assume that Apple Bloom is taking Derpy's place by a poll. Everyone has a opinion. I prefer Derpy over Apple Bloom, though.

I can't really decide on who's my favorite pony so I just call them all the best pony. Ha ha! Problem solved!

 

 

They are both pretty adequate characters though they have their flaws. Derpy is overrated like a box of Twinkies and Applebloom's drive to get a cutie mark is a bit annoying.
