I freaking love you. That had to be one of the most underrated N64 games I've heard of or played. Completely played through single-player mode(collecting all the Tribals was absolute Hell) and unlocked most of the st00f on multiplayer. I always thought actually playing as a Drone was so awesome.

Sadly, I've never actually completed single-player mode. The story always goes like this: I start the game, play it straight through up till the point where I need to start rescuing tribals for the ship parts, then get burnt out and have to take a "break"...which usually ends up lasting so long that by the time I pick up the game again, I'm like "...Well, I'm lost. Better start over." It's an endless cycle.

But on the upside, the multiplayer does kick a ton of ass. My friends and I found that grenades were always the most hilarious way to try and kill one another, just because of how inconvenient they are to use.

Speak English, pl0x. I'm sick of having to Google these weaboo terms every five seconds because otakus assume everyone else understands their animu lingo for whatever reason.

Well gee, fine. .-.

I didn't think it would bother anybody. It's simple mistake; I put something that certain people didn't understand on accident.

My bad, I'll change it.

Edit: And I apologize for this response sounding fairly negative. I just hate being called an otaku, or being compared to a weeaboo.

I prefer single player by far, although I sometimes don't mind a bit of multiplayer. My experience is mostly based on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood/Revelations, Aion and Minecraft multiplayer modes, and I can't say I've had great experiences with any of those as far as PvP goes (even tho I was almost always getting first place in ACB Wanted and Manhunt sessions). In all cases, the games turned into slugfests for who would get the most score and never about having fun with other people.

I found Minecraft to be particularly merciless, needlessly brutal and detracting from the whole point of the game which I believe is to use your imagination to build great new things. PvP kills the point of the game imo. For instance, in servers where I was completely new with no equipment or weapons, I'd be slaughtered within seconds of exiting no kill zones by people with unrealistically buffed up armor and weapon sets. I've also had very similar experiences with Aion and other MMOs, and it ruined all the fun for me.

In my experience, multiplayer is rather harrowing, and can give many thrills within a short amount of time if everything goes well. It's too bad online players can be clueless newbies or insulting bullies.

SP is great the first time around, but I found replays to be less satisfying. At least there wasn't anyone to ruin the experience while I was at it.

I like group games suchs Gears, Payday 2, Black ops Zombies, GTA IV and V. Some elsword but I enjoy that because it is fun to chat and joke around with friends while playing video games. It can get very competitive and that is what I look for in a group :3

Well as an old Warcraft player I can say that the funniest moments I had when playing were with friends. The thing is, it is really time consuming and you get so much into a game when playing with friends that you most probably end up doing just that (at least that's what happened to me).

After a few years I can say, with a tiny bit of sadness, that I enjoy solo. You log when you want, play as much you want and disconnect whenever you feel like.

Massive Multiplayer games are the most fun for me, including the good old PvP xD.

I´m always getting competitive easily when i play against other online players, and that helps me to become better at the game I´m playing, and that`s how I have the most fun xD.

For me it all depends whaat game it is for me but usually it's single player. The only multiplayer games I'll play online are like Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare 2, or Black Ops, but I really never play the story for it cause i don't really care much for it. The only otehr game I'll play online is TF2.

I prefer to play games with a great story and a fun as hell Multiplayer, like Red Dead Redemption and CoD (the older ones, don't get too upset) as well as Battlefield.

I'd also like to mention that while I do love pvp, and that's definitely my favorite overall, that does not apply to MMOs. PvP in MMOs are just a whole 'nother beast, one I have very little interest in. Grouping with other players to run through a dungeon or 2 is much more appealing for me (well, unless/until all hell breaks loose in the party and/or things just become overly stressful).

So, yeah; PvP in general, but PvE for MMO.

I don't really like or understand the appeal of online multiplayer, I'd rather play games locally with my friends than some random guy who might be a complete jerk who verbally rips my head off over a simple mistake.

Besides, these days I usually play games when I'm angry or want to be alone...unless I have a friend over to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Raging Blast 2 with.

Ah I for one love 3rd person shooters, RPGs, FPS. Ah As for how I play.. I'm a team player.. If I'm playing a RPG I role as a healer every time, ahh I don't like playing alone, I like to play with friends... but ah none of them are on anymore so..

I don't like fighting the AI I like real ponies, because they are going to try and win.. the AI does not give a shit.. and a lot of the time the AI well steal your kill.

Ranked in order of preference:

1) Playing solo on just about any game.
I prefer playing alone because to me, that's the bread and butter of any game. Good AI helps, and I can't truly experience a game while yammering away with people online or together in real life. People are loud and distracting, and while it may be fun to play together, I play a good game like one might read a good book. I want to be as engrossed as impossible.

2) Playing small games with friends, preferably cooperatively in FPS or TPS.
I like cooperative modes in FPS games and stuff because they help me get to know my friends better, and they help us strengthen our relationship. There's nothing like having that one buddy who you've played Battlefield: Bad Company with so much that all you have to do is utter a word and you both know your exact plan to clear out a specific building together because you've done it so much together.

3) Strategy games with friends. [What I'm trying to track down a game and friend to do now. Strangers are good too. Anyone?]
Nothing like catching those newly formed friends and strengthened friendships off guard in the heat of battle. Going back on your word; making a secret alliance with a friend to co-nuke another. Friendships are really tested here, and this is one of the most fun things you can do in multiplayer games. You think you know your friends? Play a strategy game with them.

4) Online competitive games with strangers
This is far down the list because I don't resort to it unless I can't satisfy one of the above requirements. I used to play Call of Duty and Battlefield online all day long, practically. I just got sick of it. Now every competitive online game just tires me out. People are rude, gameplay's usually less than fun, and it's just not an enjoyable experience, usually.

5) MMO gaming.
Used to do a crap ton of this, too. Unfortunately, there are no MMOs that appeal to me anymore, as most that I liked have shut down or changed so radically that they are no longer recognizable. Therefore, it's been several good years since I've touched an MMO.

Singleplayer only. I did used to play 1 versus 1 with a friend long distance in some old pc games though.

My problem with multiplayer is two fold; I am not at all competitive so I can not be bothered trying to 'win' kind of a problem when it comes to MP. Secondly I only play people I know, I don't want to play strangers.

When I play multiplayer I just wanna kind of dick around, I can't take it seriously at all.
