Another artwork from todays little RP of ours hehe! Apparently Skylar and I forgot that unicorns cant stand on clouds unless they cast a cloud walking spell.. which Polaris didnt do... To which he fell and me and Skylar had to catch him fast!

Thanks Skystorm! Well here's our newest group picture including new friends Polaris and Rainshine, its not the best in my opinion because I'm working with a small sketchbook. I aim to make each induvidual character on their own page, then later clean them up and combine them together into one group pic with color and possibly a background, maybe even the MLP FIM title, but doubtful on that part due to copyright I dont want to violate. Anyways heres our new group pic!

Ya I admit they are a bit long but thats kinda my...well I guess my style being put into the MLP FIM style? Its hard to explain, I guess I'm putting my own personality into my work. It still respects the orginal content though I would hope.

Its a very nice start there Skystorm, (dont hate me for criticing!) there are some few wonks here and there if your trying to go for the exact MLP FIM style, try to shrink the pony bottom down a bit, the head needs to be bigger then the bottom if that makes sense? The outter upper lip should curve inward a bit more not outward (reference to google images of MLP facial expressions) Overall its very nicely done for a first time! When I drew my first pony omg...all wrong, head was WAY too big, eyes were over the top, the feet too large, gah... it took practice for me I'll tell you what.

Yeah, I saw the mistake on the lip and fixed it, but I forgot to take a new pic and replace it (good im noticing these things)

It would of been very funny to see your first pony can't be much worse then mine though

Sorry I havent posted any pics lately, its just my fear is if I make anymore with the promise to finalize them in color then I will never be done LOL. Maybe I can promise to finalize 3-5 pics of our favorites? We'll see, maybe we can make a poll of the pics you all love the most you want me to finalize

Okay, so my friend Merinus asked me to create an OC for him, after some debating I finally got to the drawing part

I must say, I LOVE the mane style I gave him. Even though the orders where a flaming mane ( XD )

The hooves look all wrong but I usually have to draw a pose a few times for it to come out right

It's a new pose. And, if you say : But it's such a simple pose how can you NOT draw it??

 

Well the answer is I don't draw often, rarely, even, therefore common poses are new to me...
