Frank Zappa fans

I've been listening to a lot of Frank Zappa lately. I was just wondering what other peoples thoughts and experinces with his musc. What's your fravorite songs, albums, or qoutes by him.

Hot Rats is a great album.

I'm not a big Zappa fan but I do like some of his stuff; I found a lot of his music on the 'Apostrophe' album cool. In particular I like the song  "St. Alfonzo's pancake breakfast" .

 

And as for an interesting story (hope I remember this right) I heard about him: When he had a professional orchestra group to be on an album, he actually conducted them perfectly himself. Was asked about where he learned to do that and said something like, " I learned it from a book at the library".

I am the Slime and Jesus Thinks You're a Jerk are probably my favorite Zappa songs. The latter is a bit hard to listen to, but damn isit funny as hell.
