I'll be honest, I kind of question your production team's wisdom in giving people zero say in what will ultimately become of their OCs - it doesn't exactly seem like a great motivator to get people to allow you to license their characters when you outright state that you have the power to alter their design in any way you please, make them act out of character, or put them in any situation no matter how grim. Those who put a lot of thought into their OCs tend to get quite attached to them, and while some will be fine with having a third party "do whatever" to their characters, quite a few will not.

 

That said, I can't in all good conscience lend my own characters to your cause, as I am quite attached to them, but I wish you and your team the best in reaching your goal.

Alright, I believe I have said this before, but I'm happy to repeat once again. 

First off, we ask permission from the creator of the oc if we have to alter it, if it has any time on the screen, whether it be a cameo or not. I personally come and ask you if your character needs to be altered, in fact we have done so already with some people on the fact of alicorns. And I personally ask if your character wants any screen time after you have given us your oc, I give many chances for people to pull out their ocs, though we haven't had anyone done so yet. We consul the creator of the oc for information and the like when it is needed, like during the writing of the script, how the voice should be played out, how they walk and talk or do anything for animation, and several other things for comic. We do not touch peoples ocs, unless we get permission from them. 

Infact we've been helping people out with their ocs, giving ponies with no pictures a face and helping them out with their lives on paper. 

I understand your points, but we have done nothing of what you've said. And we have actually gone above and beyond to keep the characters and the creators informed. And I have mentioned this several times before, we ask permission for everything and anything we do concerning the characters. 

Please don't type things that are false in regards to this kind of behavior and work, I haven't spent over a year on working on this project for you to just believe we do that kind of thing.

As you can see from the post above, we will indeed come and inquire if we do anything more than mention names. If you want anything special done with your character in particular (although nothing too big- save it for the heroes), then come PM us, and if we come up with something that we are going to do, then we will PM you. And even if you do not contribute your OCs, thank you for your support of the devs.

I'm not making any accusations, just inferences based on your original post; with all due respect, it was so poorly worded that I got NONE of what you just said out of it, hence why I said what I did. If you're going to be asking for people's OCs on these forums, please do us all a favor and clarify what you mean from the get-go. It'll save everyone a whole lot of trouble.

I looked at the OP and, while I see that it was there, I see that it was recently added, so you might have read it before it was edited to include that. But can we not start a flame wars here? Not necessarily you starting it, but still. Clarification might be in order- I'll see what can be done to help with that, and talk to rascal, of whose productions I help to manage.

If all you need is concept, I'm your guy. I'll be sketching some random ponies in an attempt to perfect my style. From what I've seen, it's nothing like anyone else, so I don't know if it's any good or not. Y'all here be the judges.

This is some random guy; he has no story or characteristics. He is kind of just practice, so I might as well post it here.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. I got four guys I'm really eager to introduce. The fourth I made up just now and I've got the most going on for him already

As I said, their names are Crimson [Earth], Lyre [Pegasus], Ghost [Earth], and the new one Nimber [Pegasus].

They're all brothers, and all I want to know is if they can stay that way.

I'll be working on a back story for the each of them, and I'll notify you when they're done. I'm afraid it might take a while though.

I'll leave y'all with this. All four share the same Cutie Mark. It represents their brotherhood.
