Vinyl Variety 40 November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 (edited) Do not get a flu shot! You don't know what they are actually injecting into your body no matter what they say, for 1000's of years we never had flu shots and we survived so why should we start now? I don't go to the doctor or get shots anymore, the system is too polluted with people that just want your money and are willing to slowly kill you to get it. Funny thing: people used to die from the flu all the time, along with many other illnesses that are easily curable in the modern day. There are legitimate measures making sure that we are indeed just getting a flu shot. The shitty way that hospitals make themselves a business doesn't change how beneficial advancements in modern medicine are. EndtheRaven 161 November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 I haven't gotten one in years. I just refuse to, don't really see much point in it. I haven't gotten sick in a couple years anyway and I'm never around people much.

Vertigo_95 572 November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 I had already gotten a flu shot but I don't know if I could really trust them, because I had had gotten one last year and still ended up getting sick on New Years Eve. So I had to spend the first few days of this once new year sick home from school.

How is that bollocks? Because you don't want to face the real truth? They are unproven because people would lose a lot of money if everyone stopped getting a flu shot, there are people out there that have seen what's really in a flu shot, it's disgusting. And yes for your information I have seen what is in a flu shot. Daisy Patch- http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/daisy-patch-r4850 Do ya wanna build a snowman!? HoopHoof 137 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 My parents always make me. And I don't get the big deal about having them. I never had anything serious. Exactly. You never caught anything serious because you had flu shots
cuteycindyhoney 13,307 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 I get flu shots each year, because Randall Flagg told me to. There's no way I want to come down with Captain Trips! Seriously though. I get flu shots because I hate being sick more than anything in the world! Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!
Zygen 6,066 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 I use to get them yearly, now we get them sometimes. Haven't got one yet, i dunno if we're getting one or not. I think they can be helpful, but you can technically be mostly fine the other way. I will say i dislike needles. Flu shots aren't to bad as far as needles go though. Celtore 2,770 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 (edited) Nope, because my immune system is a BEAST!... To be honest though, it's more of my fear of syringes than anything else. The flu shot is probably quite helpful in helping control the spread of the flu, especially for people with weaker immune systems, but I'm not going to be getting one. I'd rather just fight through the virus every 5+ years rather than get a yearly vaccination. Edited November 15, 2013 by Celtore

Suitaloo 743 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 Some years I get it, some years I don't. I haven't gotten it in a few years just out of lack of scheduling. I'm fine with getting shots though, I got used to them after I started getting allergy shots where I had to get one pretty much weekly. I use pokemon showdown because I can't afford a 2DS :c
Shanks 10,816 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 There are so many different virus's and strains that cause the flu and they mutate so quickly that the effectiveness of a flu shot is pretty much zero so it is completely pointless even for the "recommended" groups. And they put these toxic adjuvants in vaccines like mercury for example that can have some potentially nasty side effects which get greater and greater the more shots you take in. What people don't understand is that by shooting something directly into your bloodstream you are skipping many stages of the bodies natural filtration system so much of the toxins that would normally be filtered out through other means just stay in the body. So no I will not get a flu shot or any other shot for anything else ever again, the pharmacutical companies want more customers and what better way to get more than to make people sick with toxic vaccines that will supposedly not make them sick? 2 Rarity Get's Cockroaches
crazitaco 596 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 (edited) NO, because fuck needles O_O (seriously though, i've got a slight phobia) I would rather just get sick and wait it out. I'm young and healthy, no reason my own immune system can't do its job. ReverseFaller 2,483 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 Nope. I hear this years have an unhealthy amount of mercury in them, which is a turn off for me...Also who knows what they're injecting me with? What if they're purposely making me sick with the shot? Sleipnir Rising 115 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 I only remember of getting the flu once, so I don't feel the need to have any flu vaccines. I personally don't trust most types of injectable vaccines. The heavy metals and other chemicals contained in them are more harmful than good. I would rather be sick, from the flu, for a week or two than to have some serious side effect from the vaccine.
Golurk 468 November 16, 2013 Share November 16, 2013 A flu vaccine is a combination of many different strains of influenza. Basically, the ones that are predicted to be the biggest problem for the season. Not all strains make it in; only the ones that science deems necessary to prevent. This means that you can still get the flu, it'll just be highly unlikely since you'd have to get a strain that isn't even a small problem. I myself get them since you have to in healthcare since it does significantly reduce the risk of getting the disease. The reward much outweighs the risk. You may, however, still feel symptoms after the shot. Just your body reacting to the viral bodies the shot injected. It'll go away in a few days, and is MUCH less annoying than the actual disease. I say go for it, but it's ultimately your decision. If you want to, go right ahead. If not, that's still fine. I didn't get them until I was 12, and I only had one flu before then. Indeed. I don't think you could have picked a more biased source if you tried. Despite what you may believe, the FDA does a pretty good job or regulating what gets put into vaccines. Besides, when you don't get vaccinated, you're not only a danger to yourself but to others. Read this, it might change your view.
