So much Dissociative Identity Disorder patients.

 

A bit amusing considering it's very rare, especially for males (it occurs much more often in females). The occurrence of DID is 1 out of 100, possibly even more, and some of these cases are either misdiagnosed, under-diagnosed, or over-diagnosed. 

 

Well, time to solve it with my DID psychologist.

I am not a big fan of future or fortune telling. It's unscientific, in my opinion, and can not be confirmed. It also violates falsifiability (basically anything that may have the risk to be disproven), which is, in a way, unfair and cheap.

 

I can interact with Stardream, but Inkblot is busy with Sunset Sky. I'm the only psychologist here, and I can't help everyone at one time.

Really, we need more psychologists, psychiatrists, and doctors. One pony can't run the whole place, you know.

Well it can be considered a staple of fantasy, which really when we get right down to it is what MLP:FiM is. Also seeing the future is no less unscientific then the 'Pinkie Sense'. That and there are ways you can work the balance and fairness of such. Why do you believe seers so often speak in riddles? The future is also mutable, and can be likened to diverging paths. Some paths can be more likely then others, or one shines through blotting out the rest, thus coming in clearer and with greater certainty. Visions can be confusing and often are not fully understood until after the fact. Sometimes ones interpretation of the future can be completely wrong.

Or we can bring in more orderlies, as they are the ones that take care of the more basic needs of a patients.

It would allow for less work and need for a high number of psychologists, psychiatrists, and doctors... it would also allow a player to join without needing to alter one of their characters as much or be forced to make a new one.

Patients are there for treatment, not act like idiots. Please don't use your disorders to exploit others or do stupid actions. In a roleplay, a disorder is aimed for impairment and a disadvantage, not act silly or create drama. Act more realistic, please.

 

Do you know how REAL patients with disorders undergo? Chances are, you don't.

Well... I personlly do have expirience with people who have disorders. (Several of my family members have schizophrenia.)

But I am perfectly fine with what is happen in the rp. I think it adds some humor to this, which I enjoy quite a bit.

I purposely make characters that are very silly to balance out the more serious ones, to create a harmony.

And, seriously...this takes place in a world of technicolor horses that talk.

anyway, as long as it makes people happy, I'm good with it.
