I wouldn't say he's been ignored in my posts. His death threat was the reason Mirror lost any sympathy and guilt she had felt for taking Kingfisher hostage. But honestly when nearly everyone is making so many threats and saying similar things, it gets hard to come up with unique responses for them each.

I know why he did it but that doesn't mean that Mirror's going to give into her annoyance and anger and make the situation worse. She just wants to make sure that both her "team" and herself get out alive, Team Brandy is pretty violent.

 

Besides how would she know he has never made a death threat?

Is Mirror gonna just ignore Crimson? If so, that would be a shame...Crimson is only this calm and calculated once in a blue moon...usually he's threatening to pummel anyone (except for Willow, because he likes her) who's on Orion's side...

She's not ignoring him. She's just going with what she believes is the best choice. Having at least one bargaining chip (hostage) is better than no bargaining chip. If she just gave Kingfisher back then there's no guarantee that Team Brandy wouldn't kill her or the others. Whereas with Kingfisher (And soon Pavisa) she can guarantee their survival. She doesn't trust most of Team Brandy yet....

 

I never said that it was the smart or right choice...it's just the choice Mirror would make with that situation. Besides this is a decent opportunity for cross-team dialogue and discussion...at least once Pavisa crosses over. Kingfisher is a bit too angry/stubborn to talk.

Well, due to the nature of Crimson's character, he will do anything to save his friends, so he just made his own proposition...I'm sure Orion would enjoy a statue of someone he hates, more than two angry mares, lol.

Oh yeah, Mirror did not lie when she said Orion wouldn't know about the hostages. With Orion's current mental state he'd probably kill them and despite taking a hostage she doesn't really want them dead. 

 

And while maybe a little over the top I don't think it was "too much".

Welcome back!  No one controlled your characters, but everyone's in the same area.  We just kinda assumed Blast and Eclipse were being quiet  They traveled down the tunnel, found a large room filled with magical sparks that hurt like hell to touch thanks to Orion, and Mirror took Kingfisher hostage.

 

Now Pavisa is trying to convince the rest of the party to go on without her to find a way around the traps, while she stays behind to join Kingfisher as a hostage in order to make sure that she doesn't get herself killed.  Amethyst is kinda leading the way back to go around them.

hey dude, glad your back so here's a short recap: both teams have met and got caught up in a strange magic field left by Orion. Kingfisher has been taken hostage by team serious (I guess that's what they're called) and now crimson and pavisa are trying to exchange themselves for her while the others find a way around to continue the adventure.

First of all your post doesn't fit all that well - Only Kingfisher has been taken hostage.  Pavisa and Crimson are both still with the others  Pavisa is telling the rest of the party to go on without her so that Mirror will help her through the traps to join them.  She's basically volunteered to become a second hostage to stop Kingfisher from getting herself killed by antagonizing them.

 

As far as the traps, they're a bunch of floating magical sparks flooding the room.  They're kinda like a wall to my understanding, making the room almost impossible to navigate.  Touching one is about like touching any other source of electricity, it's going to hurt like hell.

Also only Kingfisher is being held hostage. Pavisa is going to wait until everyone else leaves the room and then Mirror will help her get through the sparks (Which is the only trap so far. They're magical floating lightning mines) and then both Pavisa and Kingfisher will be hostages.
