Apart from "spoilers don't show up in email notifications", I like it! And really that doesn't play much of a role because I can just switch from my email to the mobile site to see what was in the spoiler xD

Oh have I buggered up? Typical - when I muck up - I muck up badly.

 

The way I had it figured - there was the main team with clockwork slightly ahead: Ronin had taken off to 'scout' and run into them. They were supposed to have entered from the same passage that the group had come in through.

 

It's not impossible to believe that clockwork actually turned down the right path they were heading for, while Ronin ran past it. Or that the came from a side passage. It's all quite ambiguous.

Indeed - I'm all for Blast and Eclipse charging it, but they'll need to catch up to Ronin first - he took off ahead and got ambushed.

 

Also, he's only fighting one Stalker at the moment - the others haven't revealed themselves.

Just want to reiterate that Ronin wasn't with the group - he had taken off ahead of them - which is why he was attacked: because he was alone.

 

So the group hasn't actually seen the Stalkers yet - or him getting ambushed. They are quite safe. They might have heard the combat - or at least his shout - but they wouldn't have seen him - let Alone multiple monsters. There's still only one fighting him.

I think it's less a matter of terrible writing (which isn't the case at all) and more that people aren't reading that carefully and want in on the action.

Typical. Woke up early enough to get a response off before school, the website goes down on me right as I try to post it, and doesn't come back up until I'm walking out the door... Anyways, I have a response sitting in a word doc on my laptop, I'll get it up in a few hours when I get back home >.>

 

And yeah, I think Silver stated it the best. As soon as anything exciting happens people tend to forget where they were because they want in on it.

There is that. But now Kingfisher and Pavisa might actually become captives, where they might not have been before. Scribbler still has every intent on moving forward. But now he's suspicious those two have the book, and won't just let them go until one of them coughs it up. Even if he has to drag them along with the group.
