My favorite NES game will always be the original Legend of Zelda. I never actually owned an SNES, but I have played some Virtual Console games from it, so my favorite SNES game is Super Metroid.

 

Super Metroid did have one of the most unforgettable final boss fights. Made you feel for that poor metroid.

Final fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Secret of Mana... That's not ever all the rpg style ones

Mario and Zelda of course, but don't forget Mario Kart! Starfox, Mega Man X... It's a long list of very good games
