This is what i would like to see and i know i won't. Celestia have a team of ponies move the remains Castle of the Pony Sisters to Ponyville then make it in the a plaza with the a Library, a Small castle and other buildings. They have many differint types of ponys that can help. so i think it could be done. Twilight is a Princess now.So in my mind she should live in a Castle with Guards. And they have a spare Castle. Then Twilight could take her time and read the books in the library of the Pony sisters. i feel it makes sense to have the answer in that old library or in the Crystle Empire Library.

 

and if you put Luna and Twilight in charge to the plaza project. Luna could teach Twilight little things about being a princess. Celestia is too Grand in twilights veiw but Luna is like a friend. (look at Luna Eclipsed) and we could get a good look at the Shadow Pony. and have a fight with luna getting hurt and have a dark magic infecting her. Twilight find in a book what the box is while looking for a way to help luna and the mane 6 went to find the keys and open the box to save luna and all of equestia from the Shadow Pony.

But on that same note, she's a princess and can do whatever she wants as far as where she wants to live.

And a castle would not only look out of place in Ponyville, but take a long time to design and build.

 

I can kind of agree about the guards since she's essentially a high profile celebrity now and you can't get a lot done if people keep popping up to take you picture or just talk to you, but just about everyone in Ponyville knows her and probably won't harass her.

Though tourists could be a problem.

 

However I do think that all the stuff in the old castle should be retrieved.

Seriously, they should have been a LONG time ago. There's valuable cultural and historical items in that place.

Twilight can have a group of Royal Guards protecting her but, she could probably settle in Celestia and Luna's old castle to see if any important items can be fixed so that she can feel more comfortable in it.

I don't think they should move the castle, but I think Rarity had the right idea about restoration. Then again, if they restore the castle that would mean more ponies in Everfree, and Everfree could loose some of its creepy charm with too many inhabitants. But if they did it right it could work. They could have a "fixing up the castle" episode and then Twilight could go there and use it as a kind of office. I would also love to see Luna working with Twilight on the research.

I don't think that would happen. Even thou Twilight has been given the title of princess, I don't think she would want to live in a castle or have guards watching her. Twilight, would most likely want to keep her life the same and not have any huge changes made. Plus I like the way the castle is right now. It looks more mysterious the way it is.

I like the idea of the episode where they work together to build something, not sure if this has been covered in the barn raising. Hopefully Luna will be worked into the season more though.

That I can agree with. She can stay in the library, if it can provide protection for her then she will enjoy it.
