You sound like a really good voice actor. I've critiqued far too many voices to know that's hard to come by...

 

You could try reading some transcripts and then comparing it to the originals. I always find that fun...

 

If you want something other than MLP for that, "Welcome to Nightvale" is great. The sort of tone of voice it requires is very fun.

"The City Council announces the opening of a new Dog Park at the corner of Earl and Somerset, near the Ralph’s. They would like to remind everyone that dogs are not allowed in the Dog Park. People are not allowed in the Dog Park.

Applejack facehoofed.

 

They could never pick the amount of apples they needed at this pace! As Applejack and Fluttershy moved to the next tree, they heard Twilight coming from behind. They paused their harvesting and turned to Twilight.

 

"Spike... library... Ponyville..." The purple pony huffed.

 

"What's wrong Twilight?" Fluttershy responded in her quiet, calm voice.

 

"Spike! He's missing!" Twilight blurted out, jerking forward towards the pair.

 

"Whoa whoa whoa, now," Applejack said, hints of concern in her voice, "What do ya' mean, 'taken'?". Twilight motioned towards the library, "The books are everywhere, and Spike's bed is scattered!". The pony's cry was quiet, but obvious. The trio of Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Fluttershy turned towards Rarity, following in Twilights footsteps...
