A MMO is a lot of work. After watching a video of this, I have to say, I'm surprisingly impressed! It's shaping up to be a nice relaxing rpg. I'm not going to over-hype it, but I like what I see so far.

I know Fighting is Magic got shut down by Hasbro (which is kinda silly cause it was going to be a free to play as well wasn't it?) but I guess as long as they don't use any copyrighted characters there's not much they can do about it.

The easiest way to keep the game from being shut down (just as they could have done with Fighting is Magic), is once the game has been established. Release the server source code.

 

I was one of the programmers behind a couple of Ultima Online emulator projects. The reason EA could never stop our free-to-play servers, was due to the fact we all shared the emulator source code, ID tools, ect.

That's actually a super idea o-o
