What is your favorite philosofical saying. I mean it can be a saying from any person in history.

For example,

" It hurts more to love someone and them not know than it does if you tell them and they say no"

my favourite has always been: the pen is mightier then the sword

That one became a HILARIOUS commercial.

Another one I like is "Sometimes it's the small things in life that makes it beautiful"

Oooh, I love quotes like these!

"Always apologize first--it annoys the crap out of people."

"Every great man was thought to be insane before he changed the world. Some never changed the world. They were just insane."

"I don't suffer from insanity--I enjoy every minute of it."

Shouldn't this thread be in the Everfree Forest?

"It's not in denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept." ~Calvin, Calvin and Hobbes

Another similar one,

"I reject your reality and substitute my own." ~Paul Bradford, The Dungeonmaster

And probably my favorite of all,

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. -Alexander Jodorowsky

Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.

"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.

"I don't know," Alice answered.

"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Well... a favorite? Read my Luna Quad Sol Solis Appareao! I usually make up my own sayings, I do not like relying on other philosophers for knowledge, but many things can be learned from them. It is sort of a grow in independence I guess, you have to begin to rely on yourself for information, and sometimes old values must be renewed to adapt to the growing and advancing society...
