In all honesty, I think we should shy away from legendaries if at all possible. I mean, we already have some, but an Arceus would just be too mary-sueish. I mean, come on. Arceus is basically God. That would just be kind of ridiculous.

A god who was nearly killed by molten metal and was flinched by Pikachu. Arceus's feats go from great (destroying the universe) to utter crap (Flinching from Pikachu's thunderbolt)

Mewtwo is the third strongest pokemon? HAHAHAHA! Kyurem and Mewtwo are garbage as far as lore goes.

 

Arceus can casually destroy universes

Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia can destroy universes with great effort

 

Mewtwo can barely destroy a building and Kyurem can't even destroy the planet

The reason for Kyurem being so weak is because it's literally a shell. It was once combined with Reshiram and Zekrom as a much more powerful pokemon, but then it split for whatever reason, and you still can't re-create that pokemon for no real reason, even though you can use gene splicers to combine kyurem and one of the two other pokemon. 

 

And as for Arceus, I don't consider the movies to be a great source of information, because Pikachu, in reality, is a very shitty pokemon, but in the anime and movies it's overpowered just because it belongs to the main character (who I despise by the way, ash shouldn't still be fucking 10, he's an absolute tool, we should have had Red in place of ash).

It still created the universe, lore wise, it could send someone to an alternate universe if it pleased

Yes but the creators of the show couldn't have that, because then they'd pretty much be out of a series. I'd be for it though, since ash is such a tool.

Well, in the previous thread, I had told Synthia (Dawnpath) that the valley had some evolutionary stones in walls of the valley, and that students could borrow archaeology gear from the school and then dig them out. I mean, Gallade evolves from a Kirlia with a Dawn Stone. I implied that Rune got it from a fencing tournament back home in Fallarbor town and currently wears it in an amulet around his neck. As for pokemon that evolve other ways, like via friendship or (really mostly in the case of Sylveon) Pokemon Amie, we should probably figure out how that's going to work.

just have tons of friends, friendship is the best

My suggestion? Bonding. A Pokemon who evolves through friendship should, in reality, evolve through close, close, CLOSE bonds with friends. Like, deep, personal bonds. It also- more often than not- involves a catalyst, that is, a lifechanging and  (possibly) traumatizing effect. He or she might even evolve to help/save his or her friends.

 

I'm not sure about levels, although, considering that most Pokemon evolve through levels, I think we should establish that, yes? Any ideas?

get the mega evolution stones same way as regular evolution stones

The friendship part, I'm good with. I think the catalyst idea is good too, just so people don't randomly evolve. Levels I'm not sure. I guess we could just choose based on maturity there. And I don't think we could fit mega evos in to this very well. I'd prefer we leave them out.

The friendship part, I'm good with. I think the catalyst idea is good too, just so people don't randomly evolve. Levels I'm not sure. I guess we could just choose based on maturity there. And I don't think we could fit mega evos in to this very well. I'd prefer we leave them out.

 

If we do Mega Evos, we're not getting into the ANYTIME soon. Maybe only towards the last of the RP.

 

Maturity level seems alright, but I'm not too sure...

Well the reason I say maturity rather than age is because of the fact that time will go slowly in this, so yeah. But I agree there, if we do mega evos, we need to wait, definitely. That's end-game content right there. Maybe after doing certain tests in battle class, somewhere mid-late RP, mostly due to them being either mid-terms or finals or something. That could be a possibility.

Anyways, I finally came up with a move set for Darius:

 

- Psychic

- Flamethrower

- Protect

- Magic Coat

Also, I was wondering if there was a limit to the number of characters we could enter with?  I had an idea for a Zorua gijinka today that I thought could be fun, but since I already have Lhee and Darius I didn't want to enter with it without asking hehe
