Melissa a hand dismissively. "Not really interested in drinking it. You said you had a bionic liver. What parts of you are actually still human? I mean, which organs are still, you know, not bionic." Melissa didn't really now how to say it without it sounding like an insult.

 

"Well, for the most part my brain is still human, a good percentage of my heart is still human, a good portion of my skeleton is still human, but bolstered with steel to keep the bones from breaking when I use artificial muscles, my hair, and a good portion of my skin is probably all that's left of the old me." Samantha said. "I don't think any one part of me wasn't augmented in one way or another, so on the bright side, it means less physical weaknesses. I guess it might be a part of why I'm weaker to fighting type attacks, because they can focus their attacks on spots where it would definitely hurt, augments or not." She sighed. "So, what do you think is keeping Dusk, Zach, and that Swanna chick?" She immediately facepalmed. "Ok, that pun was unintentional."

"Amaya, so that's her name. I just never caught it." Samantha explained, shrugging. She looked around the restaurant, seeing if she could see them around somewhere. "I think I see them just outside." She said, pointing to the front window. "I think I'll go over and tell them we've got a table."

Samantha did just that and went to the front door. "Hey Amaya, Zach, we've been waiting for you. We've got a table ready, just follow me." Samantha said, turning back towards the table.

"I've heard of Halo and Soul Caliber. Not Blazing Angels or Blaze Blue. I know Skullgirls is a pretty good fighter. I'd be up for Soul Caliber if you want." Rune agreed. "I mostly know of Soul Caliber due to all the swords in it. I actually like playing as Link, no real strong offense or defense, but is very adaptable to any situation."

"In Soul Cal V, it's Ezio who makes the guest appearance. But I'll play a few games with you, if you don't mind. Probably won't win, because it's been a while, but it was fun! However, I'd like to wait to leave until sunset, if that's okay." She stands a little closer to gaze at the horizon.

Dusk

 

As Dusk waits outside he was met by wandering eyes from a variety of different girls. Some just stared at him while others giggled and whispered to each other, probably talking about him. He didn't know how to react to such a situation and merely stood there as his face became red from embarrassment. Next he was met by another girl, this time a Glameow Gijinka, that he had saw earlier talking with Zoey that decided to wink in his direction. Why would she do that?? Why were girls acting so strange?? Ever since he got this leather jacket it had been causing him nothing but stres and giggles and unwanted attention from the opposite sex and he wasn't comfortable with that.

 

Dusk decided to head inside to get away from prying eyes and found his seat easily next to his friends. Sitting next to Zoey he decided to speak his mind.

 

"Hey Zoey I think this jacket has some kind if girl attractor or something. I've been getting nothing but stares and giggles and whispering wherever I go and I don't think I like it. Are they making fun of me or something? I feel uneasy..."

 

Dusk said with an obvioUs self conscious tone about him....though he's totally oblivious about the situation he's in.

 

Jonathan

 

Jonathan was grabbed by the neck and practically nuzzled from the weird spectral woman he called fellow faculty. Jonathan wasn't use to physical contact of any sort with other people so he started to sweat a little.

 

"P-please...don't do that... And I don't call him Shedzie..."

 

"Shedinja!"

 

"Don't agree with her.."

 

Jonathan stared as the Fossil woman left the scene to take care of business. He admired her cold yet get it done attitude and nodded in affirmation as she left the room.

 

"Alright let's go.." Jonathan said as he pried the ghost girl from her hold and began to shut down the machine.

" That sounds like a good plan.." She paused, thinking as she lifter her hand in the direction she thought the restaurant had been. " I think Melissa said it as fish for lunch, or something like that?  It was that Asian restaurant over-" She paused at the sound of someone calling out her name.

 

 

 

"Amaya, so that's her name. I just never caught it." Samantha explained, shrugging. She looked around the restaurant, seeing if she could see them around somewhere. "I think I see them just outside." She said, pointing to the front window. "I think I'll go over and tell them we've got a table."

With a glance back at Zach and a small shrug that seemed to say 'I guess we get going now!', she and Zach followed Samantha back inside to their companions.  Her grip tightened just the smallest bit on the plastic shopping bag as she quickly scanned the table once over. The safe choice was by Zoe and Dusk. And so she sat down right plump in the middle of of the two. Yes, it was the safe options, and the one she was most comfortable with.. But she silently scolded herself for not even trying to sit next to Dustin or Melissa or the girl who show the way or well..everyone else. I am  Swanna and ready to breadcrumb. Single and ready to mingle.

 

" Sorry to make you wait. I got carried away rather quickly.." Amaya said, smiling down at the bag of books she balanced on her lap with a soft, child-like gleam. 

 

She lifted her hand and slid the Menu closer towards herself, reading it over absent mindedly. Heer attention drifting from the books and the note and falling. "...Oh, did you find a jacket like you wanted? "  She asked lightly.

Zach followed suit to the table and chose a random seat, honestly paying no attention to who was near it. He grabbed one of the few egg rolls left on the platter and started munching away. "Yea like she said," he managed to get out between mouthfuls, "Sorry bout the wait. Man these are pretty good!"

 

Dustin had reverted back to munching quietly on the sushi and wasabi. ((I'm so dumb >.< Ground doesn't resist Fire...))

 

Matthew continued to sit quietly at his table, scribbling continuously on his tablet.

Fernmint found himself in he gym wearing a white shirt and track pants, a severe change from his usual attire. Other than the oddly normal clothes, there were the several holsters, sheathes and slings all over his body. He noticed another student in the room and put up a hand in greeting. "Hey there. Grant Fernmint. I teach the Languages here and I'm also the fencing instructor. A pleasure." Fernmint began grabbing several dummies, at least two dozen, and pulling the off to the side to isolate them from the rest. He then began pondering which weapon to use first while keeping an ear out in case the student felt like talking.

 

Varrick honestly had no idea what to do with himself. He ended up on the roof of the building, reading a book about Gijinka Biology.

Zoey waves happily at Zach and Amaya as they join them, smiling and throwing an arm around Amaya's shoulders when the other girl sits down next to them.  "There you guys are!  Was starting to get worried you'd decided to run off together or something.  And Dusk, girls are looking because you look kinda hot, it's not that complicated."  

 

Giggling, Zoe winks at her friends before leaning back to her own seat.  She was still trying to decide what to get to eat - she wasn't a huge fan of sushi, but she hadn't wanted to be a downer and not want to meet here when everyone else had wanted to.  She had munched on quite a few of the appetizers though - maybe she should call it good with that...  After all, she didn't want to abuse her diet too much.

 

 

Raiga

Raiga turns to look for the source of the voice, smiling and lifting up a hand as a greeting.  "Oh, uh, hello.  I'm Raiga...  No last name.  Afraid I arrived a couple days late...  My train...  Broke down on the way here."  He felt like the fact that it had only broken because he had been a passenger wasn't exactly relevant information.

 

The Raikou gijinka watches curiously as Fernmint moves so many of the training dummies aside, tilting his head slightly.  Curious.  What's he planning to do?  Standing up he walks over to sit on the bleachers closer, where he could have a better view.  

 

 

Lhee

 

Lhee found himself walking through the halls a little at random, Amaura randomly weaving in and out of his feet and running a short distance ahead, though the little pokemon never let its new Marowak out of its sight.  Lhee chuckled quietly as he watched her running, the little pokemon seeming to be happy just to be able to walk around with him.  "...You're kind of an energetic little one, aren't you?"  

 

"Amaura!  Amau mau rah ra!"  Lhee chuckles and leans down to pat her on the head as she seemingly shouts at him, the Marowak gijinka seeming quite a bit happier than he had the past couple days.  "A little talker too, it seems...  I guess one of us has to be."  "Mauuuuu!"

Fernmint gave a small nod at what the boy had said and finally pulled out two swords: A katana and a ko-wakizashi.  He looked at all of the dummies in front of him, smirked and lit up his swords with a green glow. Particles that looked similar to small leaves were emitting from the blades and Fernmint knelt down for a moment. He bowed to the dummies and put the swords by his sides. With a short yell Fernmint ran straight at the dummies hacking and slashing gracefully hard enough to knock each dummy back a few yards. When each dummy had been hit, he began running back towards the closest dummy, sheathing the daisho and pulling out a greek short sword. Mid cut, the sword glowed green with the leaf particles coming off, causing the dummy to get knocked back instead of cut. This went on with several swords, like a Scottish claymore, a Filipino long sword, and several others. He even used other weapons, like a Halberd and a Three-sectional staff. He seemed to transition smoothly between each style of fighting and once he go back to the daisho, he started the routine all over again as smoothly as every other transition had been. Even though he had been hitting each dummy very hard, it seemed he had barely broken a sweat from the first run through.

"Well speak of the devil. Look at who it is. What took you two so long? Did you get lost or something?" Melissa asked. She had finished both sushi rolls and let the waiter take her plate away. She asked for a Coke in return and waited for the waiter to bring it back to her.

"I already know what I'm getting, but if you guys still need time to look over the menu, that's fine. Or if you loaded up on the egg rolls, that's fine too I guess. I'm just still hungry myself." Samantha said, shrugging.

"H-hot?? B-but it's not even warm out! Maaaaan.. Guess I'll just order a rainbow roll.." Dusk said as he slid behind his menu as he pondered his confusing situation. Still it was great seeing everyone enjoying their time out here in town. It had been a pretty eventful day, kind of tiring though as he could feel the fatigue already setting in his energy.

 

Upon seeing the returning Amaya and Zach he perked up and gave a wave at his companions.

 

"Hey guys! How was that book store? Tell me all about it, I'm super eager to know of it's collections!" Dusk asked hen both going into full on nerd mode.

For someone who had little social interaction and had only been in a large town a couple times, it seemed Zach was much more versed in the whole outside world thing than Dusk was. "Don't strain yourself over it man. Hehe. I didn't do much at the book store. Looked around a bit. I think Amaya got something though." Zach pointed to Amaya's little bag. Zach was going to wait a bit to get something to eat. He was planning on just getting straight up raw fish, no rice or anything. It had always been a guilty pleasure of his.

"That's fine with me." Rune replied. "It's a beautiful view... I wish we could just sit here in peace forever..." He leaned on Synthia and draped an arm around her. He brought his head to Synthia's ear and whispered "I love you." He gently kissed her on the cheek and sat there next to her. It was perfect.

If she had been born with foxy ears and a fluffy tail like Zoe, they would be perked and wagging at the chance to talk about books with someone "See, I got a few-...w-well, more than a few books while we were there" She opened the bag in her lap so that Dusk could see her bounty. " I found a few light novels.. Oh, that one's a mystery thriller, I think... Here a guide for gardening- I've never gardened in my life, but it seems like a fun thing to try! or at least an interesting read- I storybook too.. this one is an autobiography on the Pokemon Professors - there is a little from all of them, isn't that so cool? An-....." She stopped herself, alittle embarrassed." Ah,... What was the original question again?"

It was a bit of a workout getting up the mountain, and getting down would be a tough one too. He felt like he needed a shower. "Do you normally play fighters? Or do you play shooters or RPGs or what?"

And getting to eat whatever you want without fear of becoming physically unfit is wonderful. But, if I were to play anything with a friend, it would probably be a fighter. Honestly, Amber wasn't looking to meet anyone. But it wasn't a heavy issue, was it? She just needed to.. slip away.

 

Alright then, fine. She wasn't entirely 'glamorous' in all aspects. Fine - to be straightforward, she read. A lot. While most of the girls she would converse with were more concerned with the way they looked rather than the way they thought, Amber was an individual that took more time reading than organizing her clothes and hair during mornings. One of the graphic novels she was currently finishing, well reading for the 700th time, was '20th Century Boys'. She was supposedly up to the point where she's learning more about Kenji's amnesia.

 

Once Amber arrived at the bookstore, she shooed the eyes of some of the boys with a cold stare, and approached the comic section. Pulling on her reading glasses, she analysed through the comics set in rows with her index finger and thumb delicately.

 

She was sure that the mint Batman comic was delivered today, and it seemed that she arrived just on time.

Zach excused himself from the table for a moment to go get himself something to eat.  He ordered a large assortment of sashimi and went back to sit down. He then started guzzling the raw fish like he did back with Sirius (Don't know why I called him Cedric earlier) and Dmitri. Old habits die hard. He didn't exactly looked disgusting eating the food, but he was essentially tipping his head back and drop the entire piece of raw fish down his throat.

Nico

 

Nico heard some footsteps along the pavement. Opening his eyes, he glanced down and saw a couple of people heading into the powerplant itself. Grinning at finally seeing something other then the usual traffic he jumped and down and landed lightly behind them. Making sure he wasn't making a sound. he quietly followed the two men inside.

"Right this way Inspector." The foreman said. He gestured for the inspector to go first into the control room. The foreman followed behind and did business as usual. The inspector wasn't very impressed and went to survey some other parts of the site. Nico decided to stay where he was and watch the foreman at work.

 

"Okay guys! Break time!" Everyone left their stations except for the foreman. the foreman had decided to stay because He saw a leakage in the roof. One of the pipes from the massive hydro pumps ran through the ceiling in the control room. 'That crack is too small. There's no way there could ever be a flood in here.' The foreman thought to himself. He left to do some other stuff but Nico decided to stay in the control room.

 

He walked up to the dripping to inspect and instead got a face full of water. Turns out that the pipe that runs through the ceiling broke. Nico ran out of the room and off to the top of the roof he was previously on. The water flooded into the control room and hit the level of a powerpoint that was conveniently left turned 'on'. The water got electrified and short-circuited some of the consoles, causing a blackout in the nearby Academy and Outlet Mall.

 

Nico sat on the roof and thought for a moment. Deciding it was nothing, he transformed and headed off back to the Academy. He was glad taht he finally found something to do.

 

 

Melissa

 

Melissa was a tiny bit grossed out at the sight of Zach eating raw fish. Hearing some of the lightbulbs fizzle out she looked up and noticed some of them go out. "Hey guys? If there was a blackout what would happen back at the school?" She asked fearfully. She hated blackouts.

 

 

Joshu

 

Joshu was just finishing off his composition and went to put it back in his dorm when the whole school suddenly went pitch black. He could hear a few screams but he just shrugged and continued in the vague direction of his dorm. Turning to the left he bumped his head into a wall. 'Oow. Where's a flashlight when you need one?' Joshu thought to himself as he rubbed his nose.

The lights suddenly dropped. "Oh no..." She said. A blackout was a minor inconvenience to most people and gijinka, but to her, it could possibly be fatal. She depended on electricity to charge her augmentations, which are keeping her alive. One thought immediately ran through her head. "I need to eat. I need to eat as much as I can. Sorry about this, guys." She said, as she started scarfing down pretty much any food around her that was available at the table, trying to leave at least some for others. She needed to load up on chemical energy, she didn't know how long this black out would last, and being that they were in the middle of the desert, having multiple locations to get power from wasn't likely.

 

Althaia

 

"Oh for crying out loud, what now?" She asked nobody in particular as the lights went out. She stumbled around in the darkness and came outside to a hallway with a window. Luckily it was still light out so she could see where she was going. She decided the best course of action was to go and find John, see if he knew what was going on.

 

She wandered the halls until she found him in the breaker room checking to see that it wasn't just isolated to the Academy. "So John, you wouldn't happen to know what caused this, would you?"
