This year, most likely EG, and most importantly, the Attack on Titan live-action movie! It has been confirmed for 2014, can't wait!

I am waiting IMPATIENTLY for 3rd Hobbit. 1st and 2nd one were stunning and somehow I wished that 2nd Hobbit would last 6-7 hours and there would be no cliffhanger. I want to see that movie now, daaaamn!

Keeping the list short in order to avoid an overlong post:

  1. Inherent Vice

  2. The Zero Theorem

  3. Maps to the Stars

  4. Boyhood

  5. The Grand Budapest Hotel

  6. The Lego Movie

  7. The Hobbit: There and Back Again

  8. Guardians of the Galaxy

  9. Tomorrowland

  10. Interstellar

  11. Godzilla

  12. How To Train Your Dragon 2

  13. Tracks

  14. Exodus

  15. Jupiter Ascending

Other than those, I intend to dig into the 2013 movies I missed out on, whether it was because of limited release or my own laziness. Chief among them are The Wind Rises, Nymphomaniac, Blue is the Warmest Color, 12 Years a Slave, The Tale of Princess Kaguya, Frozen, The Wolf of Wall Street, Inside Llewyn Davis, Her... I could go on.

What no one wants to see the New Robocop reboot?

I do. I've seen the redesigned version of ED-209, looks like a boss. I wonder if this one can navigate stairs. From the trailer it looks like theirs a slight nod to the original version in that the keep his left arm, which they managed to do in the original but hacked it off anyway.

Okay...here I go...

  • The Wind Rises-If it comes out near me I am going to see it. I like anime movies.
  • Mockingjay Part 1-I finished the second Hunger Games book but haven't seen the movie yet. I might watch it when it comes out on Netflix and watch the theatrical re-release when Mockingjay Part 1 comes out. I will read Mockingjay over the summer or at the start of the school year if I have time.
  • Into the Woods-I like musical movies, and I wanted to see if Disney bowderlized this movie.
  • Jersey Boys-I wanted to see this movie because I never saw the musical and I like musical movies.
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show-I am a Rocky Horror virgin and never saw the whole movie on video or in a theater (a local theater near me does play the film every month), but I do know the movie's plot, and I saw snippets of shadowcasts preforming the movie on YouTube, even a clip of one Shadowcast preforming a scene I worried about.

That scene is the one with Frank, Columbia, and Rocky dying. I hated Columbia dying in that scene because Riff Raff shot her for no reason, but because she randomly screamed. And the reason that they killed Frank is really lame. It had to do with Eddie, that boy who was going to do a good thing for my favorite character, Columbia by taking her away from the castle, which would have spared her life. Frank hated him so much that he chopped him and the guests got served the remains of Eddie for dinner. Gross. :okiedokielokie:

I didn't see the movie yet because it's rated R, but some people say that 16 year olds can watch it with no problems, so my Sweet 16 might have a Rocky Horror theme (my twin sister thinks the movie is "gay" and would rather have a Cinderella theme since we will go to Walt Disney World for my Sweet 16, so I think I might have to split up the trip into both Universal Studios and Disney.) or I might go to CityWalk in Orlando to see a Rocky Horror screening and dress up like Columbia. Or, worst case scenario, I might get the DVD as a present, since seeing it with audience participation is REALLY INAPPROPRIATE (They even lampshaded this in the SNL parody "Tim and Meat's One Stop Rocky Horror Shop" by claiming they couldn't say some audience participation lines that were in a book on TV.). If this is the case, I will see it in the theater when I am 17 if my parents deny my request to see the film. However, the first R rated movie I saw was Outbreak, and that was at my school, and we were not given permission slips.

  • When looking up Catching Fire showtimes, I noticed one of my local movie theaters is doing something interesting: They are showing classic movies at 2:00PM every Sunday and at 2:00PM and 7:00PM every Wednesday. An AMC theater near me did something similar with classic Christmas movies, although I didn't go to those films since the theater was too far. They had a listing for Big, but I didn't care about that. The next movies are going to be The Princess Bride, Fast Times at Ridgemont High (I might not see this, since it is rated R...and I wanted my first rated R movie in a theater to be The Rocky Horror Picture Show. ), Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Groundhog Day, and Sleepless in Seattle. I will try to see some of those classic movies.
  • Welcome to the Space Show (If it gets a theatrical release in NYC again or it gets released into the independent cinema nearby me like From Up on Poppy Hill did)
  • Any Disney Second Screen Live events (I am lucky that I lived near one of the theaters showing the previous two Second Screen Live events, The Little Mermaid and Nightmare Before Christmas. Basically, you take your iPad to the theater and interact with the film with games and sing alongs. It was fun!)
  • Mr. Peabody and Sherman-Oh, so someone who worked on The Lion King made a rip-off of Jimmy Neutron based on an old cartoon...interesting.
  • Bears-Okay, I am seeing this because it was a bit interesting and it is 40 minutes long.
  • I, Frankenstein-This looks AWESOME!
  • Godzilla
  • Muppets Most Wanted
  • Annie
  • Planes: Fire and Rescue
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-I heard that this is Nickelodeon's take on Transformers and other action movies based on 80's properties...
  • The LEGO Movie-I might see this...
  • Rio 2-I loved the first one when I saw it as part of a summer movie program.
  • Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return
  • Maleficent
  • Step Up: All In-I like musical movies but never saw the other Step Up films.
