Fandompocalypse Day

Pretty much explains it all.

 

It may seem cheesy, and a bit fangirly and somewhat one's silly Facebook dream. It probably won't even set off that much of a reaction because in reality, hardly anyone dates or cares. But, it is nice that this person wants a chance for all fandoms to unite and respect each other's hobbies. Yeah, I'm still a little bit cautious of my main fandom, which is of course ponies, but I shall still participate. I shan't tell people who aren't involved what I'm doing, but if someone else who has "Fandompocalypse" written on their arm, I shall try and stay proud of my fandom and strong for the rest of us. If it's not on a school day, that makes things a whole lot easier! But hopefully, just maybe, I'll befriend some other Bronies, or just simply be able to showcase the welcoming and friendly spirit that all fandoms should have towards each other. I don't know about you, but it's high time my school showed a bit of... Y'know... What's the saying again...? Oh yeah — love and tolerance.

I like the idea of this but i've a feeling that the reality of it is that everyone will just like the IDEA of it and won't do as much to contribute to the realisation of this guys dream (call me cynical if you will)... Still, i'm gonna do what I can because i can respect and admire an honourable motive like this and i think it's high time that humanity grew the f**k up and just got along.

The idea is noble, but I doubt this will work. I don't know, maybe it will, most likely not. Though I do think fandoms need to grow up (This one included). I know for a fact that there are people in all fandoms that just want everyone to get along and not fight, but they are overshadowed by countless close minded jerks. The MLP fandom is guilty of this too with their phrase "Love and tolerate". Funny considering that not even half of the fandom follows that saying, but instead does the total opposite. It's a saying I believe in though because it's great. We should all love and tolerate each other. After all, we are all similar in many ways.

 

I wouldn't do this because of my low self-esteem and shyness, but I like the idea.

I like the idea, but even when the members of the fandoms don't want to fight there will always be a group of people that cause the fighting or they don't want to reconcile their differences and learn to grow up. Sadly, I guess it can't happen yet.

Maybe. Depends if I have work or not (I have to wear a uniform). That and I don't go out very often or live near people who go out often. But maybe I'll spread the word.

This kind of thing could work if the scale is smaller, like in a city or something. If it's worldwide and the participant is located in the middle of a neighborhood that isn't very tolerant of weird things, this will end in tears.

 

...and how do you write FANDOMPOCALYPSE on your left arm without making it too small to read? That's an awfully long word there.
