Oh no, the entire fandom is in trouble! No life losers who are nothing but wastes of oxygen and space are going to start a movement that won't work at all! We are all doomed! The end is near! Hide your ponies before the legion of humanities worst accidents come for us! WE WILL DIE!!1!

Yeah, I can't keep this up. This is too stupid to take seriously, not that my post was serious to begin with. Though, I could go for some pizza. I'll take whatever you guys are getting, as long as anchovies aren't involved. :)

>"we are anonymous"

>not focusing on bigger issues

>turning attention to a rapidly declining fandom

>clearly sketchy research done

Yeah, fake to the core.

That, or it really speaks about how intelligent the "great" emergent super-intelligence really is.

The only information I would fear being leaked would be my banking information. Barring that, perhaps a few risque forum posts from years ago. I can't think of anything which would come back to bite me, so the threat is null as far as I am concerned.

Oh, shit! This is serious business, yo! It seems if it comes to this, we're probably gonna have to actually team up with...

HydroAmbience. Aka "DJ Hydrolicious"

The bargain here is simple. He gives us protection from this raid with "some-of-you-know-what" and we return the favor by... unbanning him

"a Brony is a humanoid that obsesses over My Little Pony"

Ummm... wat  :umad:

Please don't try to sound smart by using a really broad term to describe something. A humanoid doesn't even have to be a person. It just has to be bipedal.  :fiery:

P.S. I will personally GIVE YOU my address if you promise pizza. Black olives and hamburger, pls.

With love,

Someone who really isn't afraid of Anon.

Want to read something funny? Something really genuinely funny? Read this. It even mentions Mlpforums! I feel so special.

Am I the only one that takes issue with the fact that the crossair reticle in the picture is a TMR spliced with a Horus Reticle/Bullet Drop Compensator? Totally screws the ballistics of whatever kind of fictional, future rifle they're shooting. Plus the Mil-Relation hats imply a wildly unrealistic level of magnification, based on the target picture. And clearly, whoever made this neglected to not that a TMR is a front focus or forward parallax, as opposed to the Horus, which is fixed. I'd love to see someone try to adjust the focus on that Sci-Fi ass optic.

I'm just saying, if you're gonna threaten me, you could at least add a smidgeon of realism.

EDIT: Seriously, though, look at the duplex on that thing. Those shits are like a mile fucking long.

Amen brother.

On to hacking...

I would like to know what these mysterious codes are. How will this information be obtained?

4chan.org/mlp/ - Is known for anonymity, and so far, no one has managed to crack user tripcodes. A DDoS is unlikely, as 4Chan is hosted on CloudFlare. How are they going to collect private information on an anonymous board?

EquestriaDaily.com - Has level 1 XSS protection, SQL, and Base(64) injection protection. An attack is not impossible, all though, I doubt any administrator has their password set to 123password. Furthermore, they are using a public codebase. However, it seems that any moderator account is region locked. This is going to make mass harvesting any type of user data very hard. A good number of their users also use the Facebook devkey login method. This means, you would essentially need to 'hack' Facebook. Good luck.

MLPForums.com - Uses IPBoard as a base. IPBoard has the same protection as the previously mentioned, Equestria Daily. Furthermore, IPBoard provides the ability to scrub html content, before it is passed to the the database using a whitelist method. Both sites also have brute force protection based on a session login. Not cookies.

DerpiBooru.org - I believe this one employees Phushion Enterprise. Phusion uses a Sha-256 salted key for user passwords. Good luck, even if you obtain their database.

FimFiction.net - I would assume this would be the most suscibtible site to attack, along with DerpiBooru.org. However, both sites, while not hosted 'on the cloud', the latter is hosted with NGIX. I don't think the community would wither up without their FimFiction or DerpiBooru - ok, some might - and I am sure FimFiction employs salted passwords as well.

Even if this troll managed to get actual security experts to join the crusade, and then managed to organize the collective without leaks or white knighting. If they collected this information, and could disseminate AND process the information. If they are still not bored with the idea, and managed to actually put this information to use. The collected data would be harassing at best.

So let's recap.

This little event would piss off talented security experts. This event would strengthen Brony bonds, and the community as a whole (through white knighting), teach people to exercise more security conscious actions, and this is ONLY if the event went off without a hitch.

The only people who would respond to an internet call to arms, by indiscriminately attacking strangers on the streets, were going to do so anyhow.

I can only be led to believe this is either a six year old with a mental disorder, or troll. If this is a troll, 5/10. Either way, they lack the basic appreciation of sharpshooting. ;p Considering this person wants to obtain 'codes' from millions of 'brony servers', mostly game related; I can only be led to believe this is a medium level trolling. Unfortunately, some people are dumb enough to try it. I suggest that bronies in any situation of harassment, act civil and controlled. If you are physically confronted, treat it as any other situation with an attacker, and neutralize the threat quickly.

I've always gotten a kick out of the stereotype bronies pickup. My brother is a combat construction mechanic, a good friend of mine is a demolitions expert, and I study booby traps as a hobby. I am going to assume from your profile pic and breakdown of the previous image, that you might have a thing for shooting. We don't exactly make fluffy targets.
