This is what I hope the teacher can look like. I don't know if you are OK with it, but satyr's are epic, and this is a teacher that is similiar to when the centaur Firenze started to teach divination in the school. There is no available human teacher for defense agains the dark arts (since, you know, the curse that is on it...), so the school headmaster gave this shaman-like satyr a job. He has a different look on the dark arts, and that should be very interesting for the students to learn about. He hates being confused with a Faun by the way :3

 

He is not evil, just different. Just like the centaur's he has differnt thoughts about everything. He is a different race after all.

Ignore about everything on there, including the second oc. The white pale one is the one that I mean. The only thing that matters is his personality and his looks, the rest of it doesn't apply to this RP. He is in slytherin, but he is also very intelligent, so he doesn't know if he should be in slytherin or in ravenclaw. (he does BELONG in slytherin though, but he doesn't know for sure himself)

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

I come back after a few days and the RP has started. I didn't realise that the brohoof meant I was accepted. If I still am then the OC that I want to use is Minx: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/minx-r5907  she can be in Slytherin. If I'm still accepted that is. If not then that's fine as well. I can age her down if you want to.

-smiles- How about a younger version of Mythos Gray as a Slytherin? (Check my signature for a link)

 

He would do wonderful in this House though also be far from the worse or hated that can come from it. Being more respectable and friendly then many Slytherin yet still cunning and charming with just the right about of manipulative to do well. He can still have his moments of arrogance and elitism though this tempered with the understanding that he is only as good at the resources he can use... which counts befriending and allying himself with others, even offering ties outside of his own House. Charming, cunning, deceptive resourceful, and adaptive... this are traits Slytherin respects, though given his friendly nature even to non-unicorns and especially earth ponies there will be those in the House that question his lack of racism in believing in unicorn superiority.

This would work a lot better with humans. ^^

Oh! Here's a thought!

 

The RPers are ponies that got turned into humans via magic portal mirror, but since all ponies are inherently magic, they got invited to hogwartz. That way, there would be no troubles with unicorns vs. Pegasi, etc.

 

...or does that defeat the purpose?
