"The Marks" Hand Symbol

The Idea for the marks ^

This is The Thread to decide what the hand symbol shall be, at the moment we have 2 canidates.

If you want to make your own mark and enter it go right ahead! (Note it has to be simple, subtle, and 1 color)

My vote would be for the first one, since it means harmony... and the fact I'm not religious or female. Which is all I get from the second one (no offence TwilightCircuits!). Although again, I've no need to be subtle. But in reality, doing a poll here won't amount to much. This would need to be much more widespread then just a small group of people from these forums. It would also make much more sense as something done in a local area, get your friends to start sporting them, and let the idea grow locally.

Just to clear some things up: I'm a guy in real life, and I have the soul of a girl. That is why there is the symbol in the ring to begin with. No one pays attention to rings however, just so we are all on the same page, I would like to explain my ring a bit more.

Think for a second about someone you would like to date. What's the first things you generally look for as an adult? If there's a ring on the finger, and what kind of ring. Although many people wear rings for various reasons. We also consider it one of those things we pay little attention and focus.

We as bronies are all different ages. I've actually met children that don't know who we are and that we don't exist in their world. Although I'm loud and proud and have no problem with it, I also realize naturally that us older fans do in fact draw a strange attraction to some people. Or at least I do given my getup.

   Although I also wear a rainbow tail which draws attention, I had a young 5 year old couple weeks ago go "Mom! Mom! He's a got a tail! Is he Rainbow Dash?!" LOL  I turned around and introduced myself as Twilight Circuits. I told him what a brony was and that my job was to teach the Elements of Harmony so that the world could become a better place. I carry stickers with me so I gave him a sticker and said that I was going to have my own show so that other bronies could teach them as well. I showed him what I called my magic ring. I said it reminds of where heaven is. He asked how so I said well, if you look up in the sky, what's up there? He looked up and I said the Sun the Moon and the stars! Isn't that what Celestia's and Luna's cutie marks are?" I asked him. I pointed out my ring has two circles, One for the sun, and one for the moon, and that although they appear to be the same size in the sky, my ring reminds me how they are actually different sizes! And if someone I love was no longer around, they are up there with the sun and the moon. * I point to the sky* 

   I said as I showed him, that if I take my ring off my pinkie finger, and put it on my index finger, it turns into a cool hand gun! and then I showed him how I could aim it with the cross hairs and if I needed long range firing, I turn the ring over to the small hole, and that turns the gun into long range. Mom actually thought this was funny. Then I told him when he needs to be quiet firing the gun, I made fist with my left hand and put it at the end of my hand gun and said it was the silencer and made some muffled firing sounds. lol  Kids generally love using their imagination so this kid was loving the whole idea. I said it was the safest gun he could ever have because it doesn't hurt anybody and he could tell people that he was shooting love at them. lol

  He asked me why I had wings and I said I earned them when I as Twilight Circuits turned a year old! So then I told the kid he was older then me! Which both mom and the kid thought was hilarious. Then I said I had to go cuase the world needs me so told him to stick out his fist *i show him* I said "This is the hoof! We bump hoofs and say 'Hoof!' Which means we as bronies, already have a common love, and that's My Little Pony! So you take of yourself and stay pony!" *points hand gun at him*

  Just for anyonen that is curious. The ring also acts as an effective weapon. If you going to punch somebody, the ring sticks out enough that it will, in fact, leave open wound marks on your target. The fight would probably be over fairly quickly. But, don't say I didn't give something that would defend yourselves. I know it's kinda the opposite of Love and Tolerate on that level, but, you need to wake up and realise that no matter how hard you want, the world currently is filled with people that harm people. And if someone wants to physically harm you, you have the right to defend yourself. You just happened to have a piece of jewelery on that does +2 damage! See what i did there? Cause, when you get cross, it's time to lay down some devine justice and put a mark on your enemies... (shrug)

   @The Mane-iac. It's all good, I'm not offended at all. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing any ways because I can and it doesn't hurt anybody. I don't need anyone's permission to be me. lol

I'm going with the first one.

That's the one that I would prefer to have on my hand for a while also if anyone asks what it is I can easily lie unless they ask my asian friends.

Also harmony gives almost nothing away so if I said it means harmony it would mean nothing to them and it would only mean anything to bronies
