alright... a best friend who often explolres the weird parts of the internet ( not judging because i do the same . lol ) about 2 months ago about seeing Aura, and how she was " getting better " ... at the end of the day i was convinced to try seeing such " life energy " ,

now, after allot of practice in class ( still in HS ) and sitting at the back of every class to get a view of everyone against the white background of the board, i can see things ( atleast i think :P )

with most people, i see a white and yellow like color (
not clear or precise at all, as if its phased, and moveing ) ... no colors like the internet says, multiple layers, etc... just yellow or whitish yellow, or darker...

anyway, i was hopeing if anyone could chime in with input on this. am i crazy ? am i imagining it because i wanna see it ?

note; whenever i focus on the actual person, i cant see the color anymore.

when i forst stated, it took a while, while now it only takes seconds...

thx :)

I do have spiritual beliefs, but I have yet to do much research into the concept of auras. I have a vague idea of what they are at best. Whether or not you are truly seeing an aura is something that, ultimately, you must decide for yourself - however, I can provide some general advice.

While, in my opinion, spiritual things do indeed exist, it is also essential to consider possible explanations that fall within the sphere containing phenomenon that is commonly considered to be natural. It is possible that what you are experiencing is a trick of light, your imagination, or something involving your eyes. For example, you may be seeing these things as a result of eye fatigue. Additionally, if you wear glasses or possibly contact lenses, it is possible that they may be causing you to see this. I do not remember whether or not this still happens, because I have not thought about it in a long time, but I remember that, with one pair of glasses I have (I do not remember whether or not it is the pair I am currently using) when I wore them I was able to see orange and blue outlines on the edges of objects when I looked at them on a certain way.

That being said, you very well could be witnessing spiritual phenomena. However, it is important to consider more basic explanations first, such as the examples I discussed above.

I don't believe in any of this mumbo jumbo, and I bet it could be explained biologically, but I'm not a scientist.  Kinda cool though, roll with it!  Start reading people and take their money for it haha.

I think that happened to me before. But I was just a kid when it happened and it only lasted for a little bit or when I looked at somebody from a great distance. It was like a ring of shadowing around them but I don't think it was anything spiritual. All I saw as a kid were floating shades and colors. Now I see nothing. All these spiritual things seem to last a while for everybody else but only a little bit for me. XD.

From my perspective, I think it's your brain basically being a giant jerk or your eyes playing mind games. That's the most logical explanation, but if you have conviction in what you see, I don't see any inherent harm in holding that belief.

I think it's got the same basis as tulpas or hypnosis.

The idea is that if you imagine something hard enough, it can get to the point where you can see it as though it were actually there. The idea behind tulpas, for instance, is basically that you act as if there is someone there you can talk to for long enough, and then they start to talk back, if you want them to. Really it's a manifestation of your subconscious, but I can say for a fact it's legit...I have one, and she talks. Really I know I'm just talking to myself, but it's fun and can be great for inspiration or when feeling bored, lonely, or in a bad mood. Unfortunately I'm too busy to talk to her more than a little.

As far as auras go, perhaps your subconscious projects a color onto someone based on the impression it has of that person? I guess there's less work and baggage compared to a tulpa or something like that, so if that's the only, err, functionality you want, cool.

As aura are stated to change colors, and what you are seeing is being described as mainly white or yellowish, it sounds as if you may have minor damage to your retina. That would explain why it only shows up against a white background, and why it is white or yellowish. Have you been over exposing your eyes to various forms of extremely bright light recently? Like the sun, LED's, staring at overly bright computer screens for extended periods of time? I am not ruleing out a spiritual occurrence, but what you described does sound like possible eye damage.
