literally The same as the title, how do i shade neatly and properly, i've been having some trouble with it

It's fine, i do sometimes draw traditionally too, just.. not as much now

Well, when I shade, first I use a pencil and color in the area i'm going to shade very lightly. Then, I take my finger and rub it in, giving it that shady look. When doing the first step , don't do it darkly or it won't work!

I use Paint Tool SAI with a Wacom Bamboo Graphics Tablet ( I don't know how the type of tablet with be useful but it felt necessary)

Not sure how to digitally, but I think it all depends on the light source if you're wondering where to shade.

For the time being I'll give u a tutorial on cartoony shading... I'll do a painting shading tutorial later, I have places to be.

(NOTE, the image s pretty large, I recommend you right click it then save as onto you'r computer)
