Your art style is most definitely unique; something I can always appreciate. While it looks a bit realistic, this is a mighty fine work nonetheless.

Canonical style is great for vectors and such, but I'm a Rarity in the sense that I prefer unique and over the top art-styles over that canonical stuff any day of the week when it comes to fanart ;) It's always refreshing to see.

I'm also diggin' the progressions you showed; I can tell you put a lot effort into it, and I applaud you for that! :D I put a lot of effort into my work (whenever I get around to actually doing it :P ) but I gotta say, it looks like you put some time and effort into this. Good work.

I've never seen any of your previous work, so I can't tell you and differences from what I'm looking at now and your previous work, but I will say this is a wonderful rendition of my waifu :D

I like it, and I hope to see more from you! :D

Thank you kindly for your positive critique!

I feel it same way, i am looking for different art that don't look like style from show. I like it thats why i use my own style in my drawings.  :)

To be honest, i did put a lot of effort into this, but not a lot of time. This is 1 hour speed painting on one layer. I see potential in it because if i spend on it 3-5 hours like i do when i draw in SAI result would be much much different!

If you are interested, feel free to check my other works to compare, links are in my signature.

I added second try, Applejack.

This... Is actually really impressive.  :squee:

Kinda makes me want to put more effort/thought into how to do digital coloration, too.

Seriously, amazing with on these. I love the style you've undertaken for the characters--it seems to be balanced well between a more realistic sense of anatomy/proportion while still holding to a stylistic one.

Definitely gives it character.

And it's a big enough of a disconnect from the traditional MLP style to give the viewer a slight pause.

That said, I also love the flare of your lines and posing.

It gives it a natural flow I'm honestly a little envious of.

I like that! Your style is unique, and slightly realistic...and you know pretty horsey anatomy well! :D

Thank you both very much! I am glad :)

Impressive work, as always, Casy!  The progression shots you have shared are a nice addition, as I always enjoy to see an artist's progress from start to finish on a piece; it helps give insight on a artist's individual process.

Your style is also quite refreshing and I can see the subtle changes from your previous works to these most recent pieces, which are still unique and display how diverse your artistic abilities are.  One question I must ask is if you have found influence or inspiration from other artists that has had an impact on your own work?

What more can I really say about these two lovely displays of your skills?  They are certainly well done, with a solid use of anatomy while still maintaining a very unique aesthetic and I cannot wait to see more.  Keep up the great work!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I am rly glad when someone can give me critique like this one. Even more if its positive critique : )

I have to say, yes, i definitely found inspiration in other artist, which use variety of color in one picture, especially complementary colors. There are many many great artists over internet which use colors like this

for example this piece

Crytsal heart made many colors appear on cadence
