How did you get drawn to MLP?

I get what you're saying. I think maybe some people use that as an excuse for why they watch a show about colorful ponies, because of the production value. But I'm with you, I like the show because it's just all-around enjoyable, and I'm not afraid to admit it. :D

I instantly felt an emotional connection to the charcters, the writing is great, they did my little pony so much justice, I haven't seen an animation that could just completley captivate me like MLP, in a long time, and I enjoy a lot of anime. I don't need to make excuses for loving it, other than loving it. I love when people come at me with that "why do you love my little pony so much", show them some episodes, "ohhh. i love this!". lol

I am drawn to MLP as a whole as well, the best part is, I originally started watching the show as a hater.

To be honest, I didn't want to watch the show.  When I was in high school I had friends who were always talking about it and drawing fanart, and I would just roll my eyes and look the other way.  They said I should give the show a chance because it was actually really good, but I thought I would hate it because I was expecting it to be like the old My Little Pony from the 80s.

I actually can't remember why I finally decided to give it a try.  I think maybe I saw memes about it or something and thought "hey, this doesn't seem as lame as I thought it should be," so I went to YouTube and looked up the first episode.  Then, just to see if it would continue to be good, I watched a few more episodes.  Then, just so I wouldn't seem like a quitter, I watched the entire first season.

I guess I ended up loving it because I had always liked the idea of ponies, just hated the voice acting and music of the past, and this was a version of the show that actually didn't suck.  xP

You are a ghost, driving a meat-coated skeleton made out of stardust.

What have you got to be afraid of?

I came to like it in the fall 2013. I watched it and just somehow liked. I guess  watched it cause my little sister was watching it and just liked it. I guess I can't explain why I like it, I just feel magically attached to it.

This pony is the reason I gave the show a chance to begin with:

I love the genki girl archetype and once I found out about Pinkie Pie and what they were doing with her, I know that I had to watch this show.  So thank you, Pinkie.  You've made me laugh.  You've made me cry.  I love you.  In a totally platonic way.

I saw a bunch of pony stuff plastered around the internet and decided to give it a try, saying, "I think I'd enjoy this,". Upon watching Friendship is Magic Parts 1 and 2, my heart became 20% more pure. I even remember the first MLP fanfic I wrote, about Celestia's donut being stolen and the Mane Six setting out to find it.

Oh, and why is Pinkie best pony? Because she was the first pony I knew before anypony else.

Well, I started watching it because I was in love with Crooked Trees's art. I wasn't sure about the very first episode of the first season but figured it was just trying to introduce the characters so I continued to go onto the second episode. From then on I was obsessed!

Feel free to add me on steam if you want to play something. Also don't be afraid to message and talk to me. I've had bad luck when I start a conversation, so I more then likely won't start one.

Well, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a sucker for cute things, and I love me some good writing and characters so that's why I stuck around, I got into this show because of the flood of pony content on Memebase after 'A Canterlot Wedding' aired. I thought "what is this show and why is it popular?" So I watched 'Dragonshy' after viewing the YouTube video "Ballad of the Brony" detailing it, and I was instantly hooked. I became a brony, because the show was adorable, genuinely funny, and sported some great writing.

I simply got into after watching the first episode and it blowing me away with what a truly great show it was. It took me for surprise I did not expect to like this at all when I first watched it. Goes to show you can't judge something before giving it a shot.

Everything, the characters, the animation, the story, the community etc.

I like how the characters have their pros and cons, how good the animation is, how good the story was, and I also loved the CMC episodes, always wanting more of them  :D
