Well, when I read it's usually stuff like papers and magazines and whatnot.  Having said that, I like psychological thrillers (mostly going off movie preference).

Never played it, but what I can say is that it's:

•Fallout 3 story is better.

•Fallout 3 ambience is better.

•Fallout NV weapon management is better.

 

In overall, Fallout 3 is better.
