I listened to the sound of a microwave cooking a bag of golden potatoes.  Delicious when covered in BBQ sauce.

 

Can anyone tell me what our society would be like if one took traditional gender roles and expectations and switched them around (like, say, men are gentle and demure take care of the house while women are forward and commanding and go off to war)?

A battle barge from 40k, or another Imperial battleship. 

Not a lot of other Sci-Fi universes have ships with kinetic weapons, 40k has Kinetic and energy.

We used to own a few monkeys when I was a kid, They were brought in by my uncle, who found them during his job trucking through the mountains.  Now that I look back at it, I'm unsure whether or not his actions were completely legal
