Not too long ago, we had a fast-moving severe thunderstorm move through our area. As it was passing overhead, it let out what I can only describe as the deepest rumble of thunder I've ever heard. It was so strong that it actually shook the windows in my apartment building.

Nah, there are hardly any thunderstorms, let alone rain. And it has never snowed, and hailed only twice. There are about two to three thunderstorms, and the lightning is always too high up in the sky.
