My favorite album cover is the one for Asylum by Disturbed, I have it as a tattoo.

 

Other great ones would be Maralyin Manson's Hollywood album, Korn's Follow The Leader album, Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare single and Bring Me the Horizon's Suicide Season album.

The cover of Wilco's eponymous album. Yes, that's a camel in a party hat.

 

The cover of Aurelio Voltaire's album, Riding a Black Unicorn Down the Side of an Erupting Volcano While Drinking from a Chalice Filled with the Laughter of Small Children. The title says it all.

 

And of course Dark Side of the Moon

I'm just going to go ahead and say I like pretty much every Aerosmith album cover, but my favorites are Get a Grip, Pump, and Just Push Play

I also like Boston's Third Stage

and Van Halen's 1984.

I'll probably have even more, if I remember them.

Yeah, Swampsong and Blackwater Park had some nice and kinda creepy looking album covers. I haven't listened to Gamma Ray though. I probably should though, apparently they're influenced by Helloween, which should make it awesome.

 

I find it kinda odd how no one has mentioned In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, yet. I guess I'll do it. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.

Yeah you're right! And about Gamma Ray, Kai Hansen was the founder of Helloween. He made Gamma Ray after quitting Helloween, so they're pretty similar to each other

I recently got Reel Big Fish's latest album, Candy Coated Fury, and it also has a cool cover. It fits my odd sense of humor very well.  Evil  and crazy, yet adorable.

Favourites would either be Resistance from Muse, or Surfing the Void from Klaxons. I love the Klaxons one just becuase

of how awesome it is. The Muse cover is all also cool with its array of colours and perspective.
