Ragnar was more shocked by the sheer size of Hazel and his armaments than the fact that he's a Ranger, though seeing one out of the blue like that is surprising. At the time, he's only ever met one person larger than Hazel, and that person wasn't a pony. And Rag's memory of that person is cloudy, to say the least (another hint to his backstory that isn't much of a hint at all). Even if I didn't know what an armored battletank was, though, if I stepped out my front door and saw one in my driveway, my reaction wouldn't be "Hey, what'sup?" 

 

Shinon must really be fresh out the Stable

Also, I sometimes forget Ragnar can fly. It never occurred to me that, if Hazel was there for a fight, Ragnar could have just tried to fly off

It must be a super duper stable, you know one I am going to eventually raid and loot YAY!

Well I mean in fallout stables were huge! And not plus you wouldn't be able to explore all of them fully, so who's to say they didn't have that type of technology in there? 

 

The stats...I never gave it much thought but I would say somewhere around very high damage, after all you have to be at close range to use it.

I was thinking it would be fast, but lower damage like other laser weapons, maybe somehow have a plasma version which is slower (heavier) but higher damage.

Weight isn't really a factor in this weapon since it's already very insignificant, maybe keep the high damage and the plasma version has a larger width and power output.

Fine be that way   -_- a sidearm like that is a good last resort weapon for hazel since he usually fights up close. It is automatic and can be drawn faster then a normal shotgun. Besides the weapon is mainly used for executions anyway, but it can clear a room with a couple of blast.

the one in this video is a semi-automatic shotgun sized down to be a pistol, just for reference it can work

Either way what says a better execution then multiple balls of metal launched into a noggin.
