Should there be more than one new episode of FIM a week?

I know, it really makes you wish you had saved yourself some old ones to watch in the mean time, but like said, there is never enough FIM, and eventually you run out of episodes (within the first 3 or 4 days of watching) lol.

I prefer it like this. It's not like I sit idly by for some stream to begin. I don't really think about the new episode untill saturday. So I won't get that impatient.

I'd rather have one a week than 26 a day.

No.

Having it air once a week makes the season last longer and doesn't burn us out by over saturating the weeks

No. One episode a week is just fine. It makes it that much more fun waiting till the next episode. Exceptions being Season premieres, which have all been 2 parters and both shown on the same day (I think they were shown on the same day each season)

If there was more than one episode per week, then...well.the season would be done already, and we'd have to wait until Fall to start watching it again. And that's something I would not like. So having them spaced out as they are, works.

For those that mentioned how long it takes to do the animation. I'm pretty sure they do that in the "off season" like during the summer and such, when the episodes don't air.Gives them a head start and so when the first 2 or 3 episodes air they're already working on the second half of the season.(How do you think people find these "spoilers" and"sneak peaks" of episodes 2-3 weeks in advance?) Not to mention the "Rainbow Power" stuff that has been going around for awhile now, which I assume will be seen in the season finale.

Soon we will be in hiatus and then we have months to wait (although hopefully never as long as it was waiting for THIS season).

Then in a few years we will hit the last episode...

Why did I write this -- now I have a sad.

IMO, I rather not, b/c it would rush the season, which i would not like.  I prefer the way it is now, which is two previous episodes, then the new episode.  (That's if you are watching the HUB Network).

Same here. The seasons always feel like they fly by and I'll feel sad when it all ends.

One a week is good. If they showed more episodes each week, we would be done in 2 months or so.

Well they did say they and AT LEAST keeping it for 5/10 more years from this year so it's 5/10 years or more so not exactly...but yes agreed I thibnk one episode a week is good...

I don't think you understand how long it takes a studio to produce an episode.  It takes far longer than a week to produce an episode of FIM... they're working all year to produce those 26 episodes.  So if you had more than one episode a week, it would be a shorter series.  And if you had it going all year, we'd only get an episode every other week... so I'm happy with how it is now.

I much prefer the way it is now. This way the season last as long as possible.

Plus, the Hub over plays FiM enough as it is (they're now playing SIX episodes a day on the weekdays!).

Shoot, the multi-part episodes don't even have the effect they're supposed to because they play both parts on the same day, taking away the suspense and mystery a cliffhanger is supposed to have.

I'm very impatient and having to wait a whole week for just 22 minutes of pony goodness is extremely annoying!

Super impatient. Watch something else, or go do something. (Hobbies)

If they did either the episodes would be shit and rushed because of the fandom pressuring.

Or they would have to split the episode time in half. 11 mins for both episodes.

I suggest you just wait and do something else in the meantime.

So to answer your question, no.

Or why not just keep going, one episode a week, every week, all year!

They have to do a lot of shit for that. The episodes are produced a year before they come out. I think you should learn how it all works before you question it.

Also MLP isn't the only show on the Hub. Other shows need time to shine as well.

I'm fine with there only being 1 new episode a week. Like everyone said, if we had more than 1 air in a week, the season would be much shorter and we would feel burnt out.

I like to savor each episode that airs each week. It gives me something to look forward to and helps me get through Sunday-Friday much faster.

But if there was more than 1 a week the quality of episodes would probably decrease, due to them having to rush more.

I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to ponies :)
