gaming What's your favorite board/card game?

I kinda think this should still fit in the gaming section ^^'

 

My family was always big on board and card games when I was younger

Monopoly and Scrabble were the two biggest

and even now, I still love monopoly a lot (I have the disney version haha)

For card games, we always played uno and spades

 

Recently, I played a game that my sister introduced me to called cards against humanity

it's a really hilarious game sort of like apples to apples

I have a Nightmare Before Christmas version of Monopoly and it's super fun.

 

 

It's probably my favorite board game. 

 

Card game-wise, I like UNO.

I've played a few growing up, but none have left me with fond memories like those provided by Hero Quest. Really made me use my imagination. Somewhere around here I still have it, but I'm no doubt running low on the character sheets that came with it. Thanks to modern technology I can easily make more. Copying them wasn't a luxury I had as a kid though.

 

Sadly, I don't see myself ever having a chance to play this with anyone again.

I like playing Chess and Monopoly. Can't say I'm really good at Chess (especially if I compare myself to competitive players), but it's a fun game and I'd definitely like to improve. Monopoly is just a fun party game that makes time go by fast.

 

As for card games, I like playing Yu-Gi-Oh! a lot. Poker is pretty fun too, if that counts.

I haven't played nearly enough board games lately. Not many people to play with. I used to play more.

 

As for card games, I'm pretty addicted to Solitaire right now but I also thoroughly enjoy Cribbage and Skip-Bo. If only I could find people to play with. :okiedokielokie:

Scrabble is definitely my favorite game, I really enjoy it and I'm actually very good at it. For more traditional board games, Careers was so much fun. I won so many MVP awards in sports.

 

I loved Yu-Gi-Oh but I never had anyone to play against, so I mostly just collected the cards. (I admit I played against myself a few times. ) If we're talking playing cards, probably Michigan Rummy. I doubt anyone knows what that is but it's very fun with a lot of people.

 

I didn't play that many board games when I was younger because my older sister always cheated. We need to have an MLPForums Monopoly Tournament or something. I would wreck you all.

I'm not sure if it counts as a board game, but I like to play Battleship. It's always fun seeing everyone's method of hiding their ships.

My favorite Card game is something they call stress where you basically have lay cards on each other as fast as possible. The other one is called asshole(sorry), and it's about having the highest card.

Favorite card game: Spades (maybe with Rook as a second)

 

Kind of boring choices, I know, but my family played Spades all the time so I just learned to love it. Chess was just a game I learned to play since it looked funner than checkers (which it is); I started playing it more and more as time went on and still play it now on my phone, regularly.
