Have you ever play that game that you really liked but everyone else hated it?

One game I liked but everyone seemd to hate was Shadow the Hedgehog.

I was around 11 when I first got it and I really enjoyed it, mainly because it was the first game I played where I got to choose whether to be the good guy or a bad guy

And plus the opening to that game was kick-ass xD

Well MW3 did have a lot of haters but I really enjoied it. I know not everyone hated it but it's one of the few i liked that had a lot of hate. Otherwise i had a lot of fun with e Battle Arena Toshinden series, they got a lot of hate

Resident Evil's first FPS, Resident Evil: Survivor. It's generally considered to be one of the worst Resident Evil games out there. It wasn't that bad... I liked it enough to play it twice (granted it's a pretty short game).

Silent Hill Homecoming. I don't really dislike it like everyone else seems to do, it was a 'meh' game even with the glitches. It was my first Silent Hill game (it was the easiest to get a hold of at the time), so I may just have a soft spot for it. Shadow the Hedgehog is another big one for me, I thought it was fun, meh.

Pokémon Battle Revolution- all it did was make Pokémon battles look super-gorgeous, the game really had no substance or extras compared to previous Pokémon console battle games I'll admit... but the battles were all I needed(though I did sell it when gen 5 came along haha).

Final Fantasy VIII, Spoony and his fanboys can fuck off 

 

Starfox Adventures, even though it's barely a Starfox game, it has enough charm to make it enjoyable

 

Megaman X6 even if it's flawed as shit

 

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, imo Treyarch's best CoD

 

Killer Is Dead, even if it is Suda's weakest game

 

Metroid Other M, even though I do think the story was pretty weak, I still found the gameplay itself neat

Final Fantasy XIII is probably the biggest one.

 

Of course, there is a whole host of games that I absolutely adore that no one else seems to have heard about or have any care for.

I loved Sonic Unleashed (the PS3 version specifically) yet everybody seems to hate it because of the werehog. :/

 

I also really loved Metroid Other M! I thought that game was crazy awesome!! Yet, every Metroid fan I know is like: No, don't even mention that. Metroid Prime was way better.

The Fifth Element, y'know; that one game for the PSOne...

 

Aside from diverging at points from the films storyline, it was a rather great platformer for it's time. Also, the camera angles that people liked to bitch about weren't even that bad.

I'm not very up-to-date on what everyone else hates compared to what I like, mainly because I just don't give a buck. I know games that have a lot of players, but also a lot of haters as well. And those would be Blacklight: Retribution, World of Warcraft, Minecraft, Call of Duty...

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories gets a ton of flack for introducing a card mechanic in place of the previous battle system, but it was the first Kingdom Hearts game I ever played so for me this is the game I owe to introducing me to the series as a whole. Plus, I actually like the card system because it offers a level of customization and strategy over "spam A to win".

 

Then we have the odd case of Megaman X6. I know this game is crap in multiple areas...but at the same time I still find myself enjoying it despite the cavalcade of problems.

Battlefield 4. I don't know why people hate this game. Well not everyone hates it, it's more like a mixed reaction from players. They say it's "broken", but I've never had any problems with the nedcode and I've only had a server crash on me ONCE in the six months I've been playing BF4. Solid multiplayer game, but one hell of a hateful audience.

 

Killzone: Shadow Fall is another honourable mention.
