I wouldn't blame you, it's not so hard as beating the game with the teams, but collecting the Chaos Emeralds can be a real pain in that game, as previously mentioned.

Yes! The last Emerald I tried to get. I was so close to getting it, but it reached the line before I did.

I disagree with the stories being the same, I've always thought Adventure 2's story was much more drastic in terms of action and such. Not saying that Adventure 1 had a bad story, just saying I thought Adventure 2 had a better one. But, that's just me.

 

I do agree on the gameplay, Adventure 1 felt a lot better than 2, although Sonic was about the same in both, excluding the power ups. However, the treasure hunting stages and shooter stages I felt were terrible. So really, I'm only enjoying about 1/3 of the game, which is Sonic and Shadow's parts.

Unlike most people I actually liked the treasure hunting and mech parts of the game. I'm glad they tried to mix things up. I really wish they'd bring back using multiple characters with different things like that and Adventure.

See, it's the fact that they took something that had nothing wrong with it, tried to make it better, and messed it up. There was absolutely nothing wrong with how Tails and Knuckles were in Adventure 1.

See, it's the fact that they took something that had nothing wrong with it, tried to make it better, and messed it up. There was absolutely nothing wrong with how Tails and Knuckles were in Adventure 1.

As far as I'm concerned, the fact that they were trying to add variety to the gameplay is enough for me. I also tend to like it when things change drastically.

I see your point, but it's such a pain. Even collecting the key is a pain...because one hit from an enemy and it's gone...

If you're having trouble with the bombs the best way is to just not boost at all unless you're sure there's no bombs ahead of you and then wait until the end of the level where there's a gigantic stream of starred red orbs which give you basically infinite boost. That's the perfect opportunity to catch it as long as you don't fall too far behind before that.

That's why it's best to use Team Rose. Short and easy levels, it's a win-win!

I actually got all the Emeralds as Team Sonic. Keep in mind this was before I knew about the Team Rose tip.

No. You just have to get all 7. I got all 7 as Team Sonic, and I didn't have to get them as the other teams.

There's only 1 final level, but yes. If you beat the stories of all the teams, you'll have a screen come up that says "Collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds". Moments like these in a Sonic game give me goose bumps. Makes me wonder what exactly the final story will be.

If that were the case, that'd be stupid.

Yeah...I can't wait for the final boss. I just know its gonna be epic. Egg Emperor alone took a while with Team Rose...but with Team Dark...that's a whole different story, which is why I'm leaving Team Dark for last.

I give '06 ton's of flack already, but even I will admit that it had a final boss than Generations.

Heck, even Lost World had a better final boss, and that was pathetically easy.

You're on! Just something random to help prove my point... in my opinion, Sonic Labyrinth is a fun game, all the flack is about it's actual game mechanic Sonic can't move fast without Spin Dashing! (le gasp!) It's an enjoyable puzzle game and is definitely worth playing with the right mindset.
