gaming Favorite Weapon in the Halo series

What're your guys' favorites? It can be from any game! Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, you name it!

 

Mine is the DMR. I love it's accuracy and flexibility. It can be used in a wide variety of situations, even in close-quarters if your calm enough and don't panic.

 

My second favorite is probably the Needler. It's satisfying getting multiple super-combine kills in a row, and it just looks cool (it's design in Reach is probably my favorite)

Shotgun is pretty nice, too. And I've always liked scoped assault rifles in this style of FPS, Battle Rifle is pretty cool as well.

EDIT: Forgot about Halo 1 pistol. It's my second favorite.

My favorite is definitely the pistol from Halo: Combat Evolved. They ruined the pistol in all the other games though :/

 

I also like the SMG from Halo 2, the shotgun, the energy sword, and the battle rifle.

Hmm honestly it's probably the Battle Rifle from Halo 2. It just looks really cool, and I love the style of the weapon. Short powerful bursts and handy medium to long range. My kinda gun The energy sword is awesome as heck too.

In the right hands, the Plasma Pistol is a force to be reckoned with. People very often underestimate it. Firing a charged shot at an enemy, draining his shields, then following up with a Magnum or DMR headshot is always fun, and a strategy I'm very fond of lol

The grenades, because lobbing grenades and having them bounce off walls and just the right amount of arc pays off with the satisfaction of blowing up a vehicle and getting 3-4 kills.

 

Plasma and spike grenades also apply.

Gravity hammer for actual in-game fun. I just love sending my foes flying with it. The needler is my favorite weapon concept. Filling my enemies body with little exploding needles just fills me with a sadistic glee.

Definitely the DMR for general play. It's so easy to control and has pinpoint accuracy, combined with a deadly burst fire. The only thing better would have to be the God Pistol, and unfortunately, that was considerably nerfed in the later games.
Best melee weapon?
My. Bare. Hands.
It's great fun chasing down your enemy, and saving your ammo by beating them to death with their own skull.
