I've just been informed that this is not a Rarity/AJ hybrid pony, but is a shipping pair. I approve either way! Rarijack is still best pony.

I'm not actually big on shipping, but I do love me some Rarity and Applejack,

I had a similar realization. I was an enormous fan of both Rarity and Applejack, and on a second viewing of Look Before You Sleep, the lightbulb came on, so to speak.

When I decided I would see them as characters. Fell in love with them both now they must be shipped together  :comeatus:

 

Luna likes the ship too, she said something along the lines of "The d'awww has been doubled!"

After seeing them together enough times I suppose. They've been my two favorite ponies from the mane 6 for awhile, and they just go so well together. Most of my favorite parts from this series has been episodes that showcase them together.

 

See my post above with the video. That video and the first gif are what really set it in stone for me as best shipping.

Is it just me, or did the current Rarijack madness begin in March Madness?  I mean, it obviously existed beforehand, but it seemed to be fueled up after the tournament.  If it did, I feel like I'm partially to blame (which I don't want and certainly didn't intend). :derp:
