I think I found something I actually like more than MLP =O (I know, shocker, right?) Anyways, all of the protagonists were likable and believable, Amalthea was amazing, and even the villains were sympathetic. It revived my love for unicorns. Also, did anyone read the novel? I'm wondering if the novel is much different from the movie, because I'm thinking of buying the novel.

I watched The Last Unicorn a long time ago... but from what I remember it is a very good film. That was my older sister's favorite movie growing up, if I remember right.

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now
After such a love as this?

I would recommend buying the graphic novel. It sticks to the story of the novel, and the illustrations are really well done!

Movie still rocked my socks off.

I actually watched it recently, which I gotta say, the art and special effects from the 80's was incredible.  If im not mistaken, the artists and designers who did The Last Unicorn, also did the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and the Black Cauldron.

Yes I have! It’s one of my favorite animation! Although the tree scene was quite weird.

I never saw the movie, surprisingly. I’ve read the book and liked it quite a lot, so I really should catch up with the film. It looks good from what little I’ve seen of it.

I saw it for the first time 2 or so years ago.

Quite good classic animation! And I believe I read that some of the animation crew went on to become Studio Ghibi and do those Miazaki movies.

I saw this movie multiple times before some years ago. Very great movie in my opinion and I feel very nostalgic about it.  I liked it a lot :>
