How many Princess Celestia fans are there on here?

I'm still a fan of Celestia but my opinion on her has dropped significantly since reading the first two issues of the 'Reflections' arc where she was stupid, hypocritical, and irresponsible.

 

With that said, I think the Celestia from the show is really cool because of her benevolence and grace, but despite her position as power she's not stuck-up or some kind of prude as we've seen that she's can be fun by pulling the occasional harmless prank from time to time.

 

 

 

She came up and exclaimed how correct Twilight was I believe. Not sure what she said exactly but I know she and Applejack were the only ones shown on screen to make amends for their behavior by either apologizing or complimented Twilight on her actions.

 

 

I believe she made a point about one believing in themselves even when everyone else was seemingly against them with her instincts and conviction, that is-if I remember correctly.

I really like Princess Celestia. I do love Luna too, but as I said in the Celestia Fan Club, they're both Best Princess to me! Definitely two of my favourite characters (the third being Rarity). As for Celestia though, I find her graceful and benevolent, but not infallible (which makes her more relatable), and I think more emotional than is often shown (such as how she referenced disliking the Summer Sun Celebration in Princess Twlight Sparkle), with a sweet and slightly wicked sense of humour and quite a motherly way about her at times. In short, I love Sunbutt!

I'm actually not a crazy Princess Celestia fan, but I do love her, don't get me wrong. ^^

 

I mean, she did mold Twilight Sparkle into the amazing, wonderful, awesome, beautiful, talented alicorn Princess she is today, of course I have to love her. ^^

 

And also, she was always like a mother figure to Twilight, in my eyes. I think that's why "Celestia's Ballad" made me feel the forbidden feels.

Celestia is my favorite Princess. I feel a good degree of solay sympathy, I like warmer climates and feel more productive during the day.

 

Apart from surface details, I like Celestia more as a character and like her style of empowering others. She's a manipulator but a non-malicious one, and everypony comes out better from her plans. Celestia appears to believe strongly in a pony's own agency, only "nudging" them in the right direction and letting the rest play out to her expectations.

I always really liked Celestia. She reminds me of my relationships with my mentors. I never understood why people don't like her. She seems kind,generous and smart but also makes mistakes. She is a royal with a human side. I liked when we see her have emotion like in the season 4 opener. Yes I would love to see her and Luna do more and I hope they address this in season 5.
